Food was great but these guys charged me forced tip 4 dollars on the first transaction which was only 6 dollars and 5 dollars on... the second transaction which was only 7 dollars. So i spent 13 dollars total but they charged me 22. Tampering with signedreceipts is a crime please stop this kind of behavior you give a bad name to all ethnic people Read more

For a quick low-cost meal to go, I love the samosas. Ask for tamarind chutney. The okra's pretty good, too. But my main draw... here is jilabis! Pure golden heavenly sugary treats made to crunch while remaining gooey inside. They also have a huge selectionof doughy burfis in many flavors. Read more

When it comes to a true hole-in-the-wall restaurant offering authentic Indian/Chaat food, "Samosa Garden" will have you covered.... I actually have been to this place at least a dozen times dating back to the early 2000's; even before writing reviews was athing. Located directly in a strip mall on Florin Road east of Highway 99 and just a few blocks from Stockton Blvd., this smallfamily-owned and operated business has been dishing out some of their signature Indian dishes for a few decades. I made my mostrecent visit during the afternoon of Sunday June 5, 2022 at around 2:40pm. Since this was going to be a lunch/dinner, I wantedto order enough food that would carry me through the rest of the day. The inside of this place is as no-frills as you get withseveral booths and tables for dining. However, with the occupancy restrictions (as of 2022), only one table was available forindoor dining. Luckily nobody else was dining inside so I enjoyed my meal when it was hot and ready. Now onto the food itself..In all my years reviewing several business, this place has NOT changed their prices! To put it all in perspective, here is arundown of the most popular entrees and sides: #1 meal (vegetable of the day, Dal, rice, Roti or Puri) - $3.99 #2 meal(vegetable of the day, Dal, rice, yogurt, Aloo Tikki, Roti or Puri) - $4.99 #3 meal (chicken curry, vegetable of the day, rice,Roti or Puri) - $5.99 Hot Chaats - $2.99 Cold Chatts - $3.99 Samosas - 85¢ With these rock bottom prices, you can get yourIndian fix on and still be under ten bucks. Therefore, I went with the #2 meal; the vegetable of the day was Baingan Bharta(fire roasted eggplant mash cooked with spices), Dal (yellow lentils, tomatoes, & spices), Indian white rice, yogurt (also knownas Curd or Dahi), Aloo Tikki (sweetened boiled potatoes with curry spices), and Roti (round whole wheat flatbread). I also wentwith one Samosa (fried pastry complete with spiced potatoes, onions, and peas) that included sweet & s Read more

Stopped by for lunch yesterday. Nice options and budget friendly. I've noticed a lot of bad reviews for customer service. I did... not experience this as I was treated very nicely by the younger gal who is absolutely gorgeous. Will have to come back for thefood and possibly some ????. ???? Read more

Google Maps reminded me today as I stood in line that I visited Samosa Garden 5 years ago when I picked up an order of samosas... for a work event. I ordered a samosa tikki chaat. The taste is consistently d-e-licious!! The sholay were flavorful and cookedwell and samosa and tikki were spiced well. The prices are spectacular and so much more affordable than anywhere in the BayArea. The woman behind the counter was friendly and I got my chaat in no time. I'm definitely returning for a snack, if not ameal, the next time I'm in town. Read more

I love this place! The food is tasty, so affordable, and the girl working the counter is SO nice. They have an interesting... assortment of Indian sweets, as well. Try the mixed sweets box, and take a photo before you eat them so that you remember whatyou liked for next time (helpful tip from said nice lady). Read more

I love this place. I've been coming for years and now that I've moved I still drive back to south sac to come here if I want... some Indian food. Compared to some of the other Indian food I've had in Rancho Cordova or Sac this place has the perfect balanceof flavors, food is always done right and they don't over charge you. You get a mound of food for under $10. Best part is thecombination plate which I haven't found another Indian restaurant that does a combo plate , usually they make you buy everythingindividually and that can add up quickly just to get a full meal. I usually get the combination plate with chicken curry, garbanzo and rice with Naan... and can't help but order 4+ samosas and a couple potato patties. Don't ask me the real namesbecause I don't want to butcher them but i will eat the heck out of the food here. It is a hole in the wall place but we allknow that usually leads to some good food. The building/shopping strip is run down but they keep their establishment clean. Themother and daughter are so sweet. The son has been away at school or working. But they are so family oriented here.
