Had the fish and chips they came out so hot and fresh I burned my mouth which I am by no means complaining about. Was on a road... trip and passing through Sacramento and decided to stop for lunch. If you're in the area I definitely recommend stopping andgetting an order. Also as a tip it's all out door boardwalk seating with no condiments on the table so you gotta ask for lemons,malt vinegar, ketchup etc. I also recommend either bringing something to drink or buying an extra from them as it's all bottleddrinks. The area they're in is super cute and was pleasant to walk through and explore some of the shops. Read more
Shrimp fry was good but other than that it was below average for the price. Stay away from the coleslaw. No indoor dining.
Yummy with huge portions. I had the fish and chips and hubby had the fry combo with shrimp, fish, chips.
It had 3 pieces of fish for the "Fish & Chips" but I ate 2 1/2 and some of the fries before I took the picture...sorry I was... hungry - but I wasn't after I was done eating! Great fish and portion size ! Read more
It was hard to enjoy my food when the overflowing trash was smelly and attracting bugs and ????! Very disappointing being that... this is my first time in Sacramento, CA. Food was not worth the price. Read more
We went to this restaurant expecting a great experience with the good reviews online. Once we got onto our train ride home we... noticed mold on one of our burgers. It?s a shame we were charged an arm and a leg for moldy food. If you value your health andimmune system don?t buy your burgers from this restaurant during your visit to Old Sacramento. Read more
Crispy, delicious, and simple sea food. Order at the window then sit outside by the street or out back by the train tracks and... river boats on picnic benches. We got fish and (garlic)chips, coconut shrimp and chips, calamari and (garlic)chips, and a SierraNevada Pale Ale. They also have chowder, salad, fruit, clam strips, catfish, chicken, burgers, beer and wine. Exactly what youwant! DELICIOUS! Restrooms are at the old train station (same side of street). Men's room was closed (July 2021). They takecredit or cash. Metered Street parking everywhere... if you get there at the right time. Not too busy Monday in July at 1pm. Read more
Food was great, shrimp were huge. I did feel guilty eating the delicious food while homeless were looking through the garbage.... Solved that by buying them dinner so they could also enjoy. Read more
