This was my first time trying Purple Pig Eats. It was pleasing to see the staff crushing it on a Thursday afternoon lunch rush,... great communication and collaboration all around. Good customer service too! I ordered the dirty bird sandwich, with fries and adrink. I'd recommend all turkey lovers to try this sandwich, tasty turkey meat with substantial slices and true smokiness. Thepotato wedges were prepared with an ungodly amount of crisp, crunch and air while still being nice and meaty on the inside. Ireally enjoyed the whole meal, and the to-go boxes are packed very thoughtfully. One of the nice things about this place was alldifferent types of folks enjoying the food. It was solidly okay, not better in my opinion. Parking is a nightmare and the price was a little high for the amount of food we... got. We were confused when biscuits and gravy came with a brown gravy, since that dish really only ever has white gravy? I guessthey're trying to be trendy or whatever but idk, seemed like it's just a different dish at that point. Also it didn't seem likethe workers were necessarily on the same page as the menu board about prices and the like. Had the biscuits and gravy with eggs today. It was hella good! They put chives, herbs and seasonings in the biscuit dough. Also... put chives on the eggs. Almost couldn't finish it all and I'm a big eater. We'll look forward to going to this place again. Read more
I had THE BEST biscuit with gravy here. I stumbled upon the little eatery and now I can't wait to go back so I can try other... items on the menu. The biscuits are made fresh on site. Ordered the biscuits and gravy with two eggs over easy to go. The drop biscuits were really good with the gravy. The gravy was... awesome. Very flavorful and not at all starchy. The over easy eggs were cooked just right. This is a very unassuming place onthe outside, but they turn the trick inside! Already have sent location to friends. I'll be back. Read more
