Unfortunately, we had a really bad experience with the service and with the billing. We had a family event at one of the private... rooms at The Bank a few nights ago and catered from Platypus Pizza downstairs. My son made the arrangements a few weeks ago andprovided a credit card to hold the order, but I was going to pay for it on the day of the event. THE PIZZAS: A gentleman by thename of Dante came up to our event room and wanted to deliver several dozen pizzas at once. The bartender explained that thatdidn't make sense. He offered to go downstairs throughout the night and tell Dante when to send pizza and appetizers up. By theend of the event, we still had a balance of 10 undelivered pizzas so we requested a pizza credit so we could consume them someother day - the total sale would not be affected. They refused to work with us and delivered the rest of the pizzas that night.THE MONEY: At one point Dante came up and sternly told my son his card had been declined. My son explained that I was paying. Iprovided a card and Dante came back with a wad of stapled receipts. I asked where to sign and he said there was no need to. Asof this morning, my son's card has $800 of Platypus food. My card ALSO has the same amount. In addition, I have an unspecifiedcharge for $140. I usually give businesses the benefit of the doubt in my reviews but in this case I really have to recommend tostay away from these jokers. We are currently pursuing resolution and I will update this post as needed. Read more
