Not my first choice of food places. But Received a gift card to Panera. Was not impressed with the food. Small portions and not... really any good side selections. Food did taste ok though. Service was really good. Received food fast and hot. Just not enoughand and we ordered the chicken sandwich. Came with a slice of bread as the side. Was not sure what to think of that. So afterwe left, we had to decide what we wanted to eat. ???? Read more

*Originally Posted on Yelp but also Posting on Google for Visibility* TLDR: Inaccurate Takeout Orders - Missing Items and No... Compensation/Apology for Wasting Your Time and Fuel This is the only Panera Bread location that I've been to because it's onlyabout 2 miles from where I live, but man, is this location terrible. I'm reluctant with tipping for takeout because of placeslike this. You don't even have to serve me the food or act polite when you ring me up but PLEASE at least be ACCURATE with myorder. Come on, it's listed on the receipt! I already have to deal with the uncleanly appearance of trash littered about theparking lot and sketchy people loitering around this location (Sacramento at its finest) but I really also have to deal withemployees not performing their job well. I already have to deal with myself being hangry (mostly hungry and pretty irritablebecause of it), which would make some sense why I'd come here, right? On top of that, I'm an [socially] angsty woman of allthings, so I order takeout specifically to limit any possible negative/uncomfortable interactions yet it feels like this placeis intentionally trying to push my buttons because this visit today isn't my first time with inaccurate takeout orders. The foodis fine, depending on what you order. You can't really go wrong with ordering a pastry (okay, maybe it can taste really dry, butI haven't had a problem *yet*). I enjoy the [french onion] soup (and soups are only available after 10:00am) as well as thesoufflés (which are made in the morning so since they don't make many of them, your best chance of purchasing one is within anhour of the location opening). There are some other things I've ordered here (sandwiches, mac&cheese, bagels, drinks, etc.) andthey taste just as you'd expect for what you pay for. What I like about ordering through the app is that you get to customizecertain items in your order so it's nice that I can substitute ingredients for sandwiches (i.e. different Read more

This Panera bread location sucks! Literally EVERY SINGLE time I?ve ordered from here they mess something up or don?t give me... utensils or don?t customize even though my receipt reflects the customization. Today my warm Baja bowl was FROZEN! Like how?!They don?t give half as much food for sizing as the other locations. Just terrible period. Always this location only. CitrusHeights and all the Bay Area locations are amazing. This one needs big time retraining Read more

I was here to pick up a salad for my wife. There were some customers inside but I didn't think it was crazy busy. I was able to... place my order without any trouble. Then I waited. I waited some more. After that, I kept waiting. The line behind me ofcustomers waiting for their orders grew as I continued to wait. Finally, an employee asked for my name to check on the order. She told me that it wasn't on the screen yet so it may be a few orders back in the system. 25 minutes is what it took to get asalad. It didn't look overly busy to me but what do I know.. maybe somebody ordered 300 complicated sandwiches. Regardless, Iwould have appreciated a little heads up. 2 stars were given because everyone was nice and my wife thought the salad wasoutstanding. Read more

Aaaah, I won?t have enough words to describe how much I love Panera bread? that?s why it?s so packed every time I go there I... like the food, what I order almost all the time is the combo which is tomato soup and tuna sandwich, or tomato soup with grilledcheese sandwich, must-try is the tomato soup, it?s out of this world! Now, one thing I don?t really enjoy is the sandwiches, inmy case the tuna sandwich and the grilled cheese sandwich. Tuna sandwich- sound great and it looks great, but when you taste youdon?t really taste the tuna, it?s salty and I think it has some cheese in it, I don?t know, but not my favorite. Thegrilled-cheese sandwich is not what I hoped for it to be, by that I mean, I hoped at least for it to be crispy, though it waslike a flip-flop, I can jiggle it up and down. At least they could?ve toast the sandwich a little longer? If you?re asking forsomething extra, the choices with the combo are apple, baguette and chips, always and I mean always go for the baguette, youcan?t go wrong with this one. Read more

Its much better now that Security has been added. The drugaddicts still roam around the perimeter mainly cause of the nearby... access to river, & bike trail. Staff are friendly, parking is limited, food always good It gets a thumbs up for me Read more
