I stopped by this place because it was convenient. But I have to say this food is extremely good!!! All the wasted years of not... knowing about this place! Homemade noodles and sauces. Crispy exterior pork belly with tender interior. Everything is soflavorful and melds together so well. Extremely excellent customer service too. Been coming here for years now and the food has been consistently delicious. The care and time put into their dishes is worth... the price for sure. Such a comfy spot in East Sac. Parking is not the easiest but the food & service is well worth it. Order at the counter, get a... number & take a seat. Food is served up pretty quick. Girls night dinner for two. We shared nigori sake, poke salad, somennoodle salad & rice bowl w/veggies, spicy sauce & pork belly. OMG! The pork belly is delish. The owner Scott brought us adelightful IPA to try along with their signature fried chicken. Yummy!!! We both appreciate the hospitality & food quality.Super fresh & very flavorful. My partner and I love ramen but neither of us were a fan of their Americanized-ramen. My partner and I ordered the pork and... veggie ramen. The broth was a no go. It was so smoky that my partner felt like it tasted like the broth was burnt. I found itdifficult to finish. And although ramen is supposed to be a comfort dish there were far too many vegetables and broccoli.(Please keep broccoli out of ramen.) The noodles were likely handmade but the texture and irregular shaped pieces weren?t greateither. The only part we liked was the pork. The pork pieces were delicious but less for ramen and more for rice as it was fartoo chunky and hard to eat. The staff was attentive though. If you?re looking for an interesting experience with ramen, comehere. But if you want good ramen, try elsewhere. Read more

It is way more than expected and decent prices. Fresh product and produce. Everything is made ina small open kitchen in front of you. Delicious and made fresh!! The food wand atmosphere was good; however, the Ramon, which I had, and the rice dish had a very strong smoke flavor to it. It's... a unique flavor but one I didn't quite like. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to other with the warning of: "You mustlike smoke flavored food." Read more
