I ordered from here so much during Covid. I finally got the chance to stop by today for lunch and I?m so glad I did! This place... is one of my absolute favorites and it?s even better in person. The space is nice and clean, the food is amazing and the serviceis outstanding. If you?re new to this type of food, grab some tea, try the Fesenjan and the Gheymeh, and don?t forget to getthe Persian ice cream for desert! Took my family out to dinner here to try something new and Maydoon did not disappoint! We ordered the 3 different meats for... kabob and our favorite was the chicken? juicy and flavorful. I also loved the gormeh sabzi and kashkeh bodemjan. I have nothingto compare them to, but thought they were both tasty and comforting dishes that I would love to learn how to make athome. Very beautiful and esthetic restaurant, very clean and bright. Food was absolutely amazing! Very good portions. The koobedeh was... so juicy with so much flavor. Maydoon?s Persian Icecream is one of the best in Sacramento. Parking: No dedicated parking for restaurant. We need to depends... on street parking. Due to prime location, street parking is very had to get. I tried to visit this restaurant for 3 times in aweek. However, I got chance only one time to enter inside the restaurant. Order: Lambshank, Kashkeh Bodemjan, Shirazi Salad,Chicken Shish Kabob and finally Persian Icecream. Every item is perfectly cooked & well prepared with fresh ingredients. I gave4 stars because I requested them to make spicy when I ordered but I received the orders with no spice. Added pepper & salthowever it is not perfect spice. Hands down best Persian/middle eastern food in the area. Everything taste amazing! All the food taste so fresh! Interior... decorations are very modern and give it a nice vibe. I'm blown away by this awesome restaurant. I came for their weekday lunch and got the Eggplant Kashkeh Bodemjan for an... appetizer. Got the lamb shank and also a shish kabob maydoon special. Everything tasted delicious and the portions are largeeven for lunch. Atmosphere is modern and clean. Service was also really good and welcoming.
