It was the first time trying Puerto Rican food and after a long drive from a rural town you don?t get a lot of diverse food... options this place was so delicious everything was amazing even our waitress was kind and referred us a dish. I am in love Iwill definitely be trying again and referring my friends and family to eat at Lola?s lounge. As a Puerto Rican who?s been in California now for about a year, the cravings are strong but nowhere really to satisfy it. I... didn?t try the Puerto Rican special as you might expect even though I?ve read good reviews (I?ll be coming back for it) Iordered the lazy rice because I really wanted to try the empanada and OMG, no regrets. We were a party of 8 with reservations, we enjoyed eating in the patio. Staff was very friendly and gave excellent... service. They have a great menu. We enjoyed appetizers, we each ordered something different. To top off a get evening wefinished with their delicious desserts. We will return. Read more
Best empanadas I've ever had. Black olives are an interesting, but for me welcome choice. A friend and I split the paella, which... was wonderful. I thought for the price it could have been a little bigger, but it was enough. Also, as a suggestion, one of thecommon favorite things about paella is a nice edge of crispy rice, and that was entirely missing. That said, the flavors werewonderful, especially at the bottom where all the juices soaked into the rice. So disappointing. My husband was super excited to find a nice place for some Puerto Rican food, but this was not it. Service was... slow despite being the only party seated. Everything was so oily; our day was promptly ended by rushing home for my husband'svery upset stomach. Oil poured out of the empanadas. He has the Puerto Rican special...the pork left a puddle of oil on hisplate. No flavor to anything, and the salt shaker brought to us was so crusty you had to take the top off. $60 and our afternoonwasted. Read more
Went for a birthday dinner. As soon as my family (family of 5) walked in, we were greeted with a friendly hello. Who turned out... to be the guitarist. I thought it was the owner. But so welcoming. The vibe of the place was very nice and very chill. We sat inthe outside area, it was after 6 so the lighting was beautiful with the outside landscape. Our waitress was Awesome to say theleast didn't catch her name but she was helpful in recommendations. Spot on???? food was great. As we left we got a friendlygoodbye from whom I believe would be the owner. Over all they really treated us like family. The music was beautiful ?? IAbsolutely recommend Lola's Lounge. Wonderful and authentic food. My family and I came here after Church. When we arrived the kind staff greeted us with wonderful... customer service. Highly recommend the freshly made chips and guacamole. The food is very delicious. Read more
