It was the first time trying Puerto Rican food and after a long drive from a rural town you don?t get a lot of diverse food... options this place was so delicious everything was amazing even our waitress was kind and referred us a dish. I am in love Iwill definitely be trying again and referring my friends and family to eat at Lola?s lounge. As a Puerto Rican who?s been in California now for about a year, the cravings are strong but nowhere really to satisfy it. I... didn?t try the Puerto Rican special as you might expect even though I?ve read good reviews (I?ll be coming back for it) Iordered the lazy rice because I really wanted to try the empanada and OMG, no regrets. We were a party of 8 with reservations, we enjoyed eating in the patio. Staff was very friendly and gave excellent... service. They have a great menu. Best empanadas I've ever had. Black olives are an interesting, but for me welcome choice. A friend and I split the paella, which... was wonderful. I thought for the price it could have been a little bigger, but it was enough. Also, as a suggestion, one of thecommon favorite things about paella is a nice edge of crispy rice, and that was entirely missing. That said, the flavors werewonderful, especially at the bottom where all the juices soaked into the rice.
