Loved the Punjabi Burrito! decently spicy butter chicken, nice sweet and sour chutneys, makes a great lunch time meal! I will... try the samosas next time and then a rice and curry plate if they do one! great location, just over the road from the Northsteps of the Capitol in the 'Bishop Gallegos Square', a place that Google fails to recognise! Update Sept 2022 Went back afterthree years away (Covid) and the menu has changed, but it's pretty confusing and the thing I ordered (Butter chicken on rice)isn't even on there. The food is very good, served with a Tamarind sauce and a mint chutney on the side. It's nice eatingoutside and people watching. They should rethink the menu - I'm a big fan of Indian food but it confused the heck out of me. Read more
Took so long. Then the woman ended up giving me the wrong order and I didn't notice until I was home. Horrible place, horrible... service. Would not recommend. Money wasted Read more
I splurged today. Tried todays special Indian fried rice/curry and it was delicious.
Enjoyable food! Delicious naan and lentils. Fair price and portions. They said, "if you eat meat, I'd recommend the butter... chicken." I liked how they kept items separate. I felt glad to support a small business here in Sacramento. Read more
Have you ever gone somewhere and instantly felt like family? That was what this place did for us. They were very hospitable and... accommodating. I felt like they went above and beyond. .Samosas are to die for!!! We went back 3 times just for that! The Veganoptions are plentiful they can make anything you want Vegan. You can also add avacado. This place has amazing food! So many vegan and vegetarian options! My husband and I shared a burrito and a side of samosas.... Delicious!!! We were so full just that. Customer service was also wonderful. Thanks for opening this place! I will be there asmuch as possible! I have to try everything! Read more
Vegan food = amazing. Counter service with no frills. Got the vegan Punjabi burrito. Naan is tasty. Curried chickpeas are solid.... Samosas are heavenly. Great service. Food comes down a crazy cool chute. No seats at present, but easy enough to grab a benchacross the street and wolf down the goods. Read more
