The restaurant itself is pretty unique, with an entrance heading underground, much like one of those hidden spot. Lunch time was... pretty busy and can get pretty loud. Servers are great and friendly and the food came quick when though it was packed. Theramens are great. Presentations were pretty basic but the broths are smooth and bursting with umami. Highly recommended ifyou're looking for a ramen place in Sacramento. Read more

Hands down the finest ramen house in the Sacramento area.. chill vibe and great atmosphere. The "underground" feel is perfect... and the ramen is top notch. Add to that the side dishes and great cocktails and you have the perfect hangout for friends or datenight! Read more

????Ramen brooth were very flavorful, unique, but balanced. The shrimp dumpling had a hint of lemon, but it did not over power... the ramen. Tonkatsu brooth was VERY lucious and creamy (ordering this next time I come). ???? cocktails were???????? ????????Our server super nice & food came out quickly. Read more

We chose this spot for the location and ambiance to set up for a live recording of our podcast called Off Da Change. Of course... we had to order a few bowls of ramen after wrapping up the podcast recording because it smelled so darn good and we were hungry. The flavors of their new BBQ Chicken Ramen was explosive with the corn and veggies. Broth was delicious. I usually get theTonkotsu Ramen which is their classic 72-hour pork bone broth. My buddy ordered that one. Thanks to the team at Kodaiko Ramenfor the hospitality and taking care of us. This place offers a full bar and is adjacent to the Golden One Center along with allthat K Street has to offer in downtown Sacramento. There's a parking garage on 7th Street near K Street. There's also parkinglots and curbside parking available. Read more

We ordered shrimp dumpling with miso butter ramen and a buckwheat noodle salad with asparagus. The noodles and asparagus were... refreshing and delicious. My husband and I both took the a bite of the ramen and decided there was just something about it thatneither of us cared for. We each tried a dumpling which tasted good. Ultimately we both had digestive issues within 15 minutes.(Stomach cramps to nausea, bloating and terrible burps ) so there must be a little corner cutting somewhere? Old ingredients, temperatures not correct? Not sure but once you?ve had an experience like that it?s hard to make yourself go back. Foodpresentation was good, atmosphere had a vibe. Read more

The Ramen here is really good. The Karaage here is fantastic. If you are eating with a small party, it's ordering the bucket... order of Karaage. Even though it's not served in an actual bucket, it is a lot of Karaage! Read more

Parking: I parked at the West Premium Parking Garage. Be careful on the weekends because it can get busy on those days. Parking... is enough for a lot of people. There is also Macy's parking garage, which is nearby as well but be careful of the time Macy willend. Location: It is a bit of a walk, but I swear it is worth it. If you go there you will enjoy the scenery of walking intown. It is especially beautiful at night since that's when the night shines bright. I went with my friend and decided to eat atthis restaurant. It was interesting because I had never experienced going downstairs to eat at a restaurant before. When youcome here, there will be a door with a Ramen bowl, and that's to show the restaurant is there. Food: The Ramen was called KareKare Paitan. The taste had a peanut and nutty broth flavor, and the noodles are nice and chewy, though there is this one meatthat I'm unsure of, and I did not quite like it. Ramen tasted amazing. The katsu sandwhich had tonkotsu as well as the eggsalad. When you bite into it, you get a taste of meat, a bit of sour, and sweet from the egg salad. It is a combination offlavors that I find it to go really well. Service: It can be a bit busy on weekends but there is still a lot of space forpeople to eat in. I think the service is quite nice and simple. They came and checked up on how we were doing. The service is anice 4 out of 5. I appreciate the work they do to make and bring our food. Read more

The service at this restaurant was superb! Our waiter Brandon was so kind and attentive. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts was so good!... The Ramen was good, the only thing I felt that could improve would be the chicken. It was a bit bland compared to the richflavored broth. Read more
