Really disappointing quality of food for the price. Dried out over cooked scrambled eggs on thin paper served on cold tin sheet... pan. So eggs never had a chance. Breakfast potatoes same with an over abundance of peppers and onions. Bacon was thin with only2 straps? First cup of coffee was horrible and waitress knew it was cool not hot. Second cup was better, stronger, hotter, butwas extra bitter as over roasted beans, not flavorful served in a to go cup that wasn't worth taking to go as offered. Airport bar that serves a limited menu. Airport prices but a decent selection of draft beers for any pallet. Good way to kill... time before your flight unlike all the peasants that insist on waiting next to the gate. Really, are you going to loose yourprearranged seat? The waitress was nice but they took 25 min for my order of the classic hamburger and fries, it seemed quiet so i didn?t think it... would take that long. I understand if they are under staffed so that?s no my biggest complaint, when I did receive my hamburger,I ended up taking out the condiments since they seemed old and smelled funny. Under cooked fries and a pedestrian sandwich at best. Had the club sandwich, over ripe avocado on it, turkey lunch meat, and... bacon. Was OK at best but the fries were barely cooked. Not many options at the old terminal at SMF so I guess there is no needfor them to try to at least be average. My advice, eat before you get there. Read more
This was the only place open at 6am so that's always good. I ordered the breakfast skillet and I must say I found it... disappointing. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and dry, and quite bland too. The tater tots were average at best. The baconwasn't bad but insufficient in quantity. Paying almost $20 for this makes it even worse. At least the service was good. And Iknow food always has to be more expensive at an airport but why can't be at least of an acceptable quality? Read more
Waitress Dora was great! Food was pretty good especially the blue cheese burger. I ordered a pineapple mimosa and they wanted... $14.50 for half of a small glass. When I politely asked the bartender was that the whole drink, he gave me this rude stare andsaid yes. He was unprofessional and lacks the ability to provide excellent customer service. If they are satisfied with servingpeople tiny expensive drinks, then I will not be returning. Especially as a black women, I am tired of the mistreatment. Hetreated his white patrons with respect. Had the house burger with cheese and bacon, and I was really surprised how good it was. The fries are meh, I feel shoestring or... something slightly larger than that would fit better in a basket. The bar area in the concourse is cool, and a great socialsetting for those who are here for a quick drink or a long layover. Attentive and friendly, the staff is top notch. Read more
