Wanted to try something local so we decided to have breakfast here. We ordered the regular eggs Benedict, coffee, and mimosas.... The food was great! I did enjoy the variety of the fruit that was given to us. The passion fruit mimosa was so delicious! Theyhave many other flavors but this was a favorite of mine. The service was good too, everyone was attentive to us the more homelyvibe among staff is a nice bonus. Read more
The food is great it's not cheap but you are getting high quality food for a decent price. We got the California omelette and... the farmers scramble with the pancake. Both were very tasty. The pancake was very thick and did a great job of filling me up. Read more
Just landed in Sac Town. Picked up rental. Googled a place to eat and here we are at Hot Off The Griddle. Service and Patrons... are awesome and friendly. Patrons let us know that we will not be disappointed. Jessica, our server was awesome and helpful andwe feel we got the best choices for a new person eating here. Everything I?d want from a breakfast place! Solid, simple menu, great food, with a little something special to make it unique. ... Pancakes, eggs, and bacon were all cooked perfectly. With 20+ mimosa options, it was tough to pick just one. Dining Room isspacious and modern?doesn?t feel dated like so many mom n? pop breakfast joints. Food was delicious!! Restaurant was clean and had a homey feel to it. Service was exceptional! From the time that my son and I walked in to this establishment it had a homey feeling. From the lady who seated US.. down to... the lady who said goodbye to US as we left.. Great little breakfast joint with a whole bunch of Mimosa options. I had the Chicken Fried Steak and it was crispy and well... cooked. The Country Gravy was also quite good. The Potatoes were a little oniony, but not too bad. The Bacon was excellent,as it should be since they make a point of it all over the menu :) Service was very friendly and speedy. Read more
