Reviews for Hong Kong House in Sacramento, CA
I ordered Brocolli Beef and Chow Mein. Best Brocolli Beef I've ever had, hands down. Chow Mein was authentic and delicious as... well. Have yet to try any other dishes, but I will be coming back. Read more
I have been here a few times, and have always enjoyed my food. The food is cooked the same every time, I know exactly what to... expect, and am never let down. This is now my go to Chinese food place, if you are in the area don't sleep on this tastyaffordable restaurant. Read more
I placed an order For some takeout for myself while I was at the office. They would not even give me soy sauce except for one... small packet. I went back and asked the female working the take out area if she could use the bottle of soy sauce and put it onthe food. One small pocket is not enough for all the food. There was a bottle on the table next to the employee. She just saidwe don?t have any soy sauce and walked away. Very rude. I?ve been a loyal customer to Hong Kong house for the last 4 years. They?ve always been rude and the service marginal when they brought food to the table at all. They generally call out to you andyou go up and get your food. Food is ok?about 7/10. But the service is a solid 1/10. Avoid this place if you care aboutcustomer service. Read more
Ordered sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken combos. Had the sauce on the side. Loved the texture of the crunchy and soft... breading of the chicken. The sweet and sour sauce, and the orange sauce were good. Also ordered the beef broccoli combo and it abit too salty, however, it was still delicious. The fried rice and chow mein were ok. The egg rolls were delicious. The onething I did not like were the cheese wontons. They had very little cream cheese filling and the wonton wrap was a bit raw andchewy. Read more

I ordered orange chicken. Not the best. $10 at mcd taste a lot better. The fried rice is more like rice with black soy sauce,... there was no egg or vegetables in it at all. Read more
Cheaper and wayyyy bigger portions than other Chinese restaurants. And best of all - the food is so yummy and the staff is... friendly. Pictured here is a SMALL fried rice (which is akin to a large portion at other places, and I could only finish half ofit) and a tofu curry rice place (which my dad, who usually orders 2 plates to himself, could only finish half of!) Good Chinese foods and generous portions. Fried Calamari and War Won Soup are a must try. Take out orders are great.
