Reviews for Hao Bao Dumplings in Sacramento, CA
The pork dumplings were pretty good but the cold chicken and noodles were even better
This place is small (so seating may be an issue at lunchtime) but the food is good! I prefer the spicy Bao soup w/o noodles.
Easily the best dumplings that I have ever had the pleasure of eating! Service was prompt and the staff were friendly. I highly... recommend Hao Bao to you whether you are visiting Sacramento or work downtown and are looking for a quick bite to eat. Read more
My friend and I decided to try this place and wow, I am glad we did! The dumplings were SO good. I tried the pan-fried pork and... she had the veggie. We both had the house special sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant. The guy taking our order was sowelcoming and helpful in making recommendations for first-timers. I would definitely come back here again. Small menu, butdiversity of choices. Easily 5 ? Read more
The dumplings are pretty good, but don?t order them boiled. They will break apart in the takeout box on the way home. Rather,... indulge in the extra calories and order them pan-fried! Nice and juicy! Don?t forget the house sauce, which is a combo of sweetand spicy flavors. The house made noodles were plentiful, but on the salty side. I?d just go with the dumplings here! Read more
Tasty, cheap, but very small variety. Their menu consists of 4 types of dumplings: vegetables, pork, beef, chicken (8/16pcs)-... can be boiled or pan fry, soup with noodle and dumplings or just noodle. That's it! No salads, no appetizers, no dessert, no hotgreen tea- nothing more. There were a plenty of free sauces and lemon water there. Small narrow space inside. Good for 2visitors, complicated for bigger company. We were only customers at 6pm on Friday, paid $13 for 3 portions of 8pcs dumplings, and waited about 15min. Dumplings were good. All other stuff you serve by yourself from the table at the corner. When we wereleaving about 10 people were inside. In my opinion this is a good place for lunch or fast eating but not for dinner or to sitwith friends. Read more
Tasty pan fried pork dumplings. Nice variety of sauces. If you get the soup, eat it there. To-go soup is packaged a bit... disappointing because the noodles and dumplings get all stuck together into a big pasty ball. But the broth tasted fine. Iwould like to go back to try the soup in house. Read more
I think you get what you pay for. Hao bao dumpling is a quick dumpling place that is not expensive and good if you're craving... some oily bites. The portions are decently big, under 10 dollars for like 12 dumplings. It's a bit too oily for me, but glad itisn't dry. The chilli oil sauce is acrually spicy. Read more
