Great food and our service was excellant. A little expensive, that is to be expected. Restrooms were clean but in the men's it... was missing a hot water handle. It lost a star for having duct tape on the seats, yuck! It lost another star because ofparking, it is in a crowded mall. Read more

Very disappointed, this will be my first and last time I order from Gen Korean BBQ. The portion of meat is small, I'm getting... more rice than anything else. Paying the amount that I paid I would expect a little more meat. Ive been to other Korean BBQplaces and never had a problem like this. Read more

Great , great experience at Gen customer service was way past a 5 star from the three young men that served Me & my mother Ryan... , Diego & Jason , our first time visiting the restaurant everything was so neat & clean. Surprisingly pretty darn good. The galbi is Thinly sliced so it cooks fast. No steamed egg here. The tofu soup and fermented... bean soup both taste good and have depth of flavor. The meats available for dinner are good but the side dishes are mediocre.Service is friendly but seems like they need more people working like every restaurant right now so it's no one's fault. My favorite Korean BBQ place! Gen just provides the best vibe. This location is my #1. Everytime I go to Sacramento, I have to... stop in. They are so attentive. We like out eat well done and like the pork belly, so our grill gets dirty fast. They alwayschange it so quickly. If it's your 1st time they will explain. I recommend getting drinks as well! This place is huge! There was a great selection of meats, appetizers, and sides for the Korean BBQ meal. The servers were very... friendly and, for the most part, were quick with bringing your initial drinks and food. Follow-up was slow as we had to askseveral times for drinks and side dish refills. They were out of a lot of items - 3 of 5 appetizer offerings were not available,no chicken, no shrimp, no lettuce - and we were told that they get their food shipments in Tuesdays, so take note. Overall theexperience was fine and the food was tasty. The biggest thing was that the restaurant was clean and they were good aboutchanging the grill frequently. Read more
