This place SUCKS !! Sorry this is a dont waste your time, or money restaurant. The food was marginal as best, impatient server,... you still could t sit inside when I went in Sept. 2022! The side patio is loud, dirty, & lacks any reason to eat there. Myrecommendation drive on by and find a much better place Read more

Ernesto’s in Sacramento has really gone downhill. I had to ask for chips and salsa, the salsa came out in little plastic to go... containers.. I ordered carnitas and though it’s ok I’m sitting here with an empty water and wine glass. I called therestaurant with my phone and asked for a waiter to come out… 10 minutes and no one. Seriously I understand the restaurantbusiness and it’s hard nowadays but I’m not happy… I feel like I ordered from a to go spot and they just happened to putit on a plate…. This isn’t the Ernesto’s I remembered and I’m disappointed. If they were busy I could understand butinside there was a couple and outside 2 couples and myself… no excuse Read more

Good food, including delicious rice and beans. I recommend ordering the chile relleno. Minus one star since I felt that the... service was lacking at times. I also want to point out that Ernesto's no longer has happy hour. Read more

Really good! The service was wonderful, the carnitas had a lovely citrus note, and the margaritas were enjoyable.

Food tasted amazing, I ordered some enchiladas. Server was kind and my food got taken out to me pretty quickly. I work nearby... and wanted to try this place out. Only downside was that I wasn't given any utinsels to eat my food. Lol. Regardless it wasreally good and I'll go back for sure. I'll just make sure to get utinsiels next time. Read more

Ernesto's is our favorite Downtown Sac restaurant. The chips and salsa come with little bowls of beans and cheese. Every taste... is flavorful! The margaritas never disappoint as does the menu. Try a new plate each time! Yuuum! Read more

In a city filled with great Mexican foods this place has big hitter competition. There certainly was nothing wrong with the... food, and if it was in like 40 of the other 50 states it would be the best Mexican food around but here it's just kinda middleof the road. I had carnitas enchaladas and they were great. But the sauce tasted like it was out of a can not home made withlots of love. Read more
