What can I say about this spot. It is Amazing!. Great location in Midtown Sacramento. The menu items are authentically something... you would find in a beer garden in Germany. Every item is great. Have been here every time I'm visiting family in Sacramento. Insummer months have a great beer that is like a frozen grapefruit beer. Yummy. Love the cucumber salad and the sausage trio.Pretzels and side dip will please young and old alike. If you are not sure of which German beer to drink the beer tenders willbe happy to make suggestions. Near end of September they have an Octoberfest that you must buy tickets online for. I try andmake this one of my Octoberfest picks for the year. (This event is for 21 and older only) Oh and also dogs are welcome sincethis is an outdoor serving area. Had some good German sausages and some great German beer! Staff was nice and welcoming. I'm not sure if it was the cold evening... weather, but I do think the sausages can be served warmer, they were a bit cold after several minutes. All together it was avery pleasant evening. We loved this place. Went on a Saturday night, was hard to find seats in the long tables shared outside, but was worth it. The... food is simple, but authentic, without the American "sweet" style (e.g. great sausages), lots of draft beers. Kids friendly withgames as bean gag toss or table tennis (although the slope is insane). Service was super friendly and efficient. Read more
A nice little gem on a corner in Sacramento. Their pomegranate cider is my favorite since I am not a beer drinker. Their food is... really delicious and very close to tasting authentic! I highly recommend stopping by even just for a drink! Read more
The pretzel is delicious - get extra beer cheese! I also enjoy their vegan hot dog options. My go to drink is the starburst, I... think it?s called - it?s grapefruit beer and cider on top! Very cool beer place. German beer is one of the best and here they serve pretty good variety.
Very authentic German food. We orderd the schnitzel and bratwurst and it tasted like we remembered when in Munich. The potato... salad was delicious. Also had apple strudel to top it all off. We liked the concept of ordering in line and getting the fooddelivered at your table. Makes the process go very fast. Staff was very courteous and the clientele was friendly. We shallreturn.
