Door-Dashed from here many times, but today was our first dine in, and it'll be the last. Their food is exceptional, but to... enter the restaurant and see it empty, then approach the counter, and stand there for a full two minutes without beingacknowledged... No, not what we were expecting. There was a single female employee in sight, and she looked at us severaltimes, but said nothing, not until we headed towards the door. Only then did she ask if we were ready to place an order? Wekindly informed her we decided to go somewhere else. We hope this is not the norm, but it was enough for us. Therefore, I mustgive a three star rating. 5 stars for food. 1 star for service. 3 stars is the average. This place has Indian street food, and fusion options. The restaurant seemed lively with music and colorful graffiti on the... wall. We tried kachori chaat which was okay. The kachori didn?t taste great. The deconstructed samosa tasted good but was toooily. The gravy could have been so much better with less oil. Chai was served with parle g biscuit. The chai tasted fine. Theyalso serve a few Indian beers like kingfisher, beera, taj mahal etc. The service was quick, they also have an outdoor seatingoption. They?re opening up one of these in Elk Grove, wasn?t gonna wait till they did so I met a friend for lunch over at the Ice Blocks... location. Turns out the same owner is opening up that location! I had the chicken tikka masala rice plate, my friend orderedthe chicken tikka masala burrito and we shared an order of samosas. Solid sized burrito, he said it was delicious! The samosaswere tasty and the sauces took it to the right level. My tikka masala plate was amazing! Great flavor, rice with flaky and goodand I was stuffed!
