I ordered shaken beef and some hot sauce on the side. First they missed the hot sauce and the beef is almost uncooked and some... horrible cut. I have never eaten beef tasting this bad before. There was no salt or sauce in the rest of the curry - it tastestotally flat Read more

This was my first time trying this place and the first time in my 23 years of living in Elk Grove/Sacramento that I've left a... review on any establishment. After arguing on an establishment to dine at for our four year anniversary we decided onCoriander; this was the most savory and delicious Vietnamese food that I've ever tasted. All I talked about to my date duringthe hour that we were there was so amazing the food was (decided to go with the beef pho). Furthermore, the service wasphenomenal. We had trouble parking (we live out in the country) since we don't come to downtown often and the staff was so kindto help us figure out the best location. I have never felt more welcome in any establishment in the years that I've livedhere. As someone with both professional and cultural experience with Vietnamese food I was left in complete awe with thequality of the meal. The broth was meticulously balanced with just the right ratio of meat to noodles. We paid less than 30bucks for a meal that I wouldn't mind paying hundreds for. Read more

PUTTING MSG IN FOODS/SAUCES (ESPECIALLY AT YOUR PRICES/ RUSHING US OUT OF THERE/ACTING LIKE YOU'RE SO HIGH-CLASS) IS *WRONG*... BECAUSE SOME OF US PAYING YOUR OUTRAGEOUS PRICES GET MASSIVE HEADACHES FROM MSG! NEVER AGAIN...YOUR LOSS! SPENT ALMOST 60 FOR A2 PERSON LUNCH, WOULD COME BACK IF YOU MAYBE STOPPED USING LOW QUALITY JUNK LIKE MSG! and if the owner writes back saying "wedon't use MSG,"... my headaches don't lie and I'm not new to dining OR Vietnamese cuisine. I ate nothing for the rest of theday... because MSG gives some people some pretty debilitating headaches... and I'm one of them. The owner is free to reach outand refund my money or give me a free meal of the same value WITHOUT MSG, obviously this is not my real name BECAUSE I VALUE MYPRIVACY (something more Californians could learn) but I can prove I was there yesterday, maybe you should actually have morecontrol over your ingredients, especially considering your prices. I don't take down my reviews unless the businessestablishment makes any effort to make it right with me personally. Good luck using MSG poison. Or maybe get the hint and passit on that people don't pay "fine dining prices" to get crippling MSG headaches. Read more
