The special of the day was vegan al pastor tacos. They were delicious, however a little heavy on the pineapple. Also enjoyed... the tofu salad. The tofu had a nice smokey flavor. Salad greens were fresh. Those two items were solid 4's. The Vegan ReasberryCheesecake was heavenly. Fluffy and delightful. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. First off let me say I always support small business but this little honey hole is great as well as its staff, healthy soups,... salads and sandwiches they have a variety of flavored drinks that you will have to go see for yourself , It?s so many flavorsmade for all taste buds across America! They always say don?t knock it until u try it ,well I tried it and loved it sandwich wasbomb ,I had the ?lemon pepper chicken sandwich??.This spot is a must try and a must support during a time like this and alongwith great friendly staff who couldn?t stop by ?.oh and don?t forget they seal and make sodas right n ur face!! Syrups were delightful- especially the smooth ginger beer. We bought a 6 pack of these for a road trip and they were perfect... because they take up little space and we could just buy soda water to mix with as we went along. Will be back for more! Read more
Almost an overwhelming level of awesome. Almost. This unsuspecting building houses one of Sacramento's tastiest secrets. When I... went, I was treated to a tasting with Papa Burly. The flavors are incredible, and they will break down the whole history of thebusiness, the flavor you're tasting, and tell you exactly which friend or family member made your beverage syrup. If being ableto make our own custom soda wasn't enough, they also offer a large shop area with straws, cups and other drink related itemsthat deserve to be kitchen staples. I've picked up so many gifts that people actually use here, and my drinks have never beenbetter. Definitely try the pink peppercorn and the ginger beer. You're welcome. Read more
Friendly owner who is passionate about his drinks. The ginger beer got me hooked. He ( I forgot his name) is always... experimenting and coming up with new flavors. My new favorites are super spicy ginger, and bay lime. When I think of bay andlime, it's a turn off. Don't let the description fool you. It makes a nice punch with a subtle flavour of vanilla. I add theginger tonic to my chai to give it a nice kick and jolt to wake up my digestive system. The lime tonic would make a nice saladdressing. I can only find the drinks at trade shows like renegade fair or in his Sacramento store. I wished it was more easilyavailable at stores like whole foods or Trader Joe's.
