Extremely friendly and home feeling from the moment you walk in. The whole staff was very welcoming and helpful. The menu had a... good variety of options as well as their drink menu. The food was DELICIOUS! We?re coming from out of town but this is a placewe?ll definitely come back when we come into town! Read more

Great service, from the kind hostess to our friendly server. Delicious guava and pear ciders, light and crisp! THE BEST fries,... so light like tempura. I savored each one whereas I usually just eat them mindlessly. Same with Fish n Chips, best I've ever hadbecause the breading is light. Chicken tacos are delicious and flavorful, with tasty rice and beans. Great place to enjoy anevening out :-) Read more

I ordered the special brisket sandwich and my wife ordered street tacos with only rice as a side. If I had received this food... from Denney's I would have been disappointed. At first I thought the atmosphere was nice, then the first bite. Oh that's whythey have low lighting..I wonder what the Brisket actually looked like in the light. It was dryer then Yuma Arizona in July andthe chicken in my wife's tacos..I'm pretty sure chalk has a higher water content. Now for the sides, payed extra for theseasoned fries instead of potato salad. How can someone screw up frozen french fries, and the seasoned part..spinkle steak rubover them and bam! Seasoned!! ???? Also payed extra for the rice, no sides with 3 $16 tacos. Oh thats where the moisture fromthe meat ended up. Soggy, no really soggy with some hard stuff whithin the bite, I hope that was just under cooked rice that gotstuck on the bottom of the pan. It tasted like the water that should have been free with our alcoholic beverages from old metalwaterpipes. NOTE the $2 bottle of water and no they only have bottled to drink. Also there is a another $2 merchant servicecharge if the check is paid via card. Not sure how this place was before "Bar Rescue" but the show wasted their time with thisplace. Such a waste of prime riverfront real estate. Read more

Enjoyed the food and the service was great. Located in the heart of Old Town Sac. Had the smoked brisket sandwich (yum!) and my... husband had the El Chapo burger which he enjoyed but watch out, it was extremely hot and we can handle spicy food. ???? thereason I?m giving 4 stars is because of pricing. Seems to be a little overpriced for bar food ($20 for a burger?) I guess that?swhat you get in Old Town. Water is not free. Bottle is your only option and it?s $2. Wanted something non alcoholic and wascharged $7 for a strawberry lemonade. Overall, we enjoyed it because the food was good and plentiful and our service was great. Read more

Came here with my mom for lunch when she came through Sacramento. The location was cool but parking was absolutely terrible with... a lot of people everywhere. Ended up getting parking at the parking garage and walking over which was annoying for a Tuesdayafternoon. The live band was way to loud to even try and have a conversation without yelling ???? Service was friendly thoughand let us move from the tables outside to a booth inside next to a window which was great. Had a nice cozy atmosphere insidefor sure. Lots of options for ordering, prices were in the 20 to 30$ range per person easily, but the food was excellent besidesmy burger being so dropping with oils that the bottom bun was kinda soaked and falling apart towards the end of it, but wasreally good nonetheless. My mom got a salad that she loved and a coffee when she first got there that she really liked. Thebathrooms are like a small adventure to get too as you go to the basement down the stairs. Service was very friendly andaccommodating for all the small changes to the dishes we got and came around in good intervals. Read more

One star off due to the disappointment that this restaurant charges for water... One star off due to the long wait to be seated... at a table and served with food... But I guess "that" comes with heavy customer traffic to any restaurant... Anotherdisappointment would be some of the overcharged meals in the menu that this restaurant offers, but I guess that's probably dueto the location which is Old Sac of course... Other than that... The food is okay, well the Southwest Philly Cheese Steak Iordered was okay, just missing something to me... The customer service is great and friendly! Read more

This is not a bad place. I just can't score it more than 3 stars. The environment and ambiance is good. The food was very salty... and nothing special. The waiter was on par with that of a Denny's or IHOP. The drinks are $14, including a 12oz Blue Moon. They're served in a plastic cup (I'm not sure why). And the waiter asked if we wanted silverware and napkins. Are the plasticcups and optional silverware a COVID-19 thing? I can only attest that it is truly a first for me at any dining experience, evenin the age of COVID-19. Perhaps the dishwasher was broken? Read more
