Low staffing, customer service was good though. The food was okay. They were out of several items very early in the evening. I... would suggest going to Tasty Pot in Natomas or Little Sheep in South Sacramento for better variety and a better experience. Read more

Great personal sized hotpot restaurant with many yummy options ie House Special, tonkotsu, miso, seafood, vegetarian, etc. If... there’s an ingredient in the hotpot that you don’t like you can switch it with an item of equal or lesser value. Beef is themost premium item and has no equal. Sides are good also. Wings used to be good but now so so. Still a great restaurant. Highlyrecommend. Read more

As an avid hotpot lover, I went on the hunt to find my new favorite hotpot spot in the Sacramento area. I am happy to share that... I think I've found it in Boiling Avenue. Boiling Avenue offers individual hotpots with a variety of broth and ingredients. Theyalso have a sizeable drink menu if you're looking for something to pair with your dinner. Just a couple logistic things tonote. The complex Boiling Avenue is located in has it's own parking lot, which makes parking a breeze. Although it doesn'taffect the taste of the food, the interior of the restaurant is very cute and easy on the eyes; the beautiful ambiancedefinitely adds to the overall dining experience. We arrived around 8pm or so for a late night dinner (bonus points that thisplace is open til fairly late 10:30-11:30pm depending on the day) and were instructed to seat ourselves. We ordered the JapaneseMiso and Vegetarian hotpot, along with their black milk tea and the kumquat lemon green tea. The hotpot broths were flavorfuland the variety of ingredients in each pot were great! As for the drinks, our favorite between the two was definitely thekumquat lemon green tea which was sweet with a bit of tartness to balance it out. The black milk tea was equally good andperfect for anyone looking to satisfy a milk tea craving. If you're in the mood for hotpot, then I highly recommend givingBoiling Avenue a try! I for one will definitely be back in the future. Read more

We came here a year ago when we were in town for a convention (two days in a row). This year, I knew we need to come back. ... Food is the same as last year. I think they were short staffed today but Brittany was great. Thank you, Brittany!!! I'm aregular to Boiling Point in my town for more than a decade. I like their sauce and spice but Boiling Avenue has their habanerosauce that add kick to any soup. The best part about this place is that they allow you to substitute up to 3 items of equal orlesser value. I like this policy because I can have them remove anything I don't like so, it won't go to waste. It's good forme, the business and the world. Less waste of food! That's absolutely great. The other reviewer mentioned the food comes outnot fully cooked but I like it. I can cook the food to my likings and not over cooked. I highly recommend this place if you arein the mood for some Taiwanese hot pot. The portion is very generous too! The only thing I hope they might have is the dippingsauce for the hot pot. I will definitely come back. Read more
