10/23/2022: Hubby and I visited for the first time, coming in for brunch. We were celebrating our 13th anniversary. We sat at a... high table in the bar area so that football games could be easily viewed. The bartender was our server. He was friendly andwas quick with our order. We each started off with a Bloody Mary which were made perfectly. It had just the right amount ofspice and had the usual garnishes, but Bennett's adds a thick slice of bacon to the drink. For our entrees, we shared the loxplate and the eggs benedict. The Benedict was ok. There were 2, good sized English muffins topped with ham, poached eggs, andhollandaise. What was disappointing was that the bottom of the dish was filled with liquid. The hollandaise mixed with the waterfrom the improperly drained poached eggs. With all the liquid, it watered down the taste of the sauce and made the muffins supersoggy. On the other hand, the lox plate was delicious. There were about 4 nice slices of smoked salmon, with green leavelettuce, thinly sliced red onions, capers, cream cheese, and a slightly toasted bagel. I loved this plate! The salmon wasperfect! Finally had a chance to stop in here. The service was exceptional and the food was great! We took advantage of the Wine and... Dine Monday deal which was too good to pass up! My fish was a bit on the salty side, otherwise it was a perfect end to abirthday weekend. James was a very helpful and friendly server. And this serving of chocolate cake was HUGE!
