On our way back to CT, via Sacramento, found them on line. Got here, realized it is far from formal. The food is far from... ordinary, it is incredible. The sauces were perfect and service was great. The entire staff impressed me Read more

One of the best Italian places I've had in the Sacramento area! Prices are very reasonable as well. Wait staff is very friendly... and helpful. Their eggplant parmesan was one of the best I've ever had and it goes great with a side of fettuccine Alfredo!Definitely worth a try if you are in the area because you won't be disappointed! After reading the reviews of this restaurant, we thought this would be a wonderful authentic Italian restaurant since there were... so many 5 star experiences. My family and I ate here early March so there is time for the quality to have improved. However, this was by far the furthest thing from authentic Italian cuisine. All of the dishes we ordered were flavorless and the pastaitself tasted as if it was store bought. Our waitress was very nice, but that was the only positive about dining here. I, normy family, will be dining here in the near future. Read more

First timer here. Not a fancy decorate restaurant but the food and service are very good. Both of our pasta entrée tasted... delicious and piping hot. Our server, she was very polite and helpful with our orders. She did come back to check on us fromtime to time. We'll be back to try their different dishes. Read more

Small casual dine-in / take-out that is well worth seeking out. We eat here every time chance we get. Their sauce is the best... I've ever tasted! We had the lasagna and the chicken Parmigiano. Both were delicious. See the before and after photos asevidence. Read more

Anthony's is "old-school" Italian cuisine, in the BEST sense of the word. My husband and I dine here at least once a month, and... are ALWAYS beyond impressed with the quality, (quantity) and authenticity of their food. The scratch-made Lasagna is delicious;the Fettuccine Alfredo is the best alfredo sauce I've ever had; and the Eggplant Parmesan is simply the best. The place is tiny, but that just adds to the old world ambiance. Casual and the service is delightful. You can't go wrong with Anthony's. Read more

This is a small but super delicious place. I am really happy I live in further away as I would go here quite often. I go... out frequently to a bunch of different areas and the price here is fair. I used to go to Bruno's in Livermore and when I movedhere I was so happy to find Anthony's. Family run and some of the very best service. The picture I added here is Cioppino. It is a seafood stew in tomato broth. It is soooo good! For years I have been in search of a fantastic Cioppino. If you alsolove it come here. If you live out of town make the trip you won't be disappointed. The first time I ever had Cioppino was inSan Fransisco at restaurant on Pier 39. I fell in love it there and I continue to love it at Anthony's. Read more
