GIGANTIC portions, fresh fish, great service, great for large groups, okay prices. Chicken katsu curry: it was a HUGE DEEP bowl... enough to feed 2-3 people. The curry was delicious and chicken was nice and fried and crispy. Only complaint was that thepotatoes and carrots were huge - they could have been cut down more and it would have been easier to eat. Salmon lovers roll:five THICC slices of salmon with an Ichiro roll - awesome deal. The salmon was really fresh. Roll had a tiny bit too much sauceand it obscured the flavor of the salmon, but otherwise very satisfying. Rainbow roll: tempura inside was a nice touch. Thefish was fresh, and it had a decent amount of pieces. Chirashi bowl: a plate of delicious fresh fish. I wish the ginger was alittle softer and sweeter because it would have been easier to eat. When you first enter, there is a small seating area withcute salmon steak cushions. The entire restaurant is large and there is a second seating area in the back. Large parties shouldnot have an issue here, but always good to make reservations. There was a kid playing loud screeching noises from his iPad nextto us. His parents didn't give him headphones or anything. Wish someone did something about it. Otherwise, you can't go wrongwith their fresh fish options and expect the plates to be large!! Read more

I was disgusted with the service here. There were 5 of us. And we (my family of 4 and a sweet extended family member). The... food was less than mediocre! Other than the Tempura Vegetables which were good and the Miso Soup and the side salad... theQueens Sushi roll tasted like rotten fish; the fish that was in the center looked bad and tasted worse. So my son andgrandson could not eat it. The Yakisoba looked and tasted like it was leftover and reheated. We didn't eat that either. Theappetizer was actually good. Agedashi Tofu it was. Good flavor and edible! The really disgusting part was the service. Theserver was bringing food to the table and standing at one side of the table and reaching across is and handing the plate intothe hands of someone at the opposite side of the table right over our food instead of walking around and seeing it down. Thenshe walked over and handled a dirty bus cart without gloves and then picked up food and brought it to the table. Her name wasUyanga. At one point they were clearing a table off and the people had left a Bottle of Apple Juice that they didn't drink. Theguy clearing the table handed the bottle to the server and she took it to the kitchen. Not a good practice. Bottom line is Iwould not recommend this place at all. The prices are high and the quality is low. Not one time did anyone come to the tableto take away anything or provide anything. We had no napkins. 2 kids and no flatware. I had to flag someone down to get aspoon for my granddaughters soup. I waved someone down for napkins. There are 5 purple at the table and he brought 3 napkins. This is the very first time I refused to leave a top. $92.11 check. I would normative leave at least 20... but not this time. You'll see by the bill. Read more

Love, love, love this place. The real deal Japanese food. I've had their tempura combination, chicken curry, teriyaki bento box,... and now their tonkatsu ramen. Everything I had was delicious! However, my friend ordered the spicy tuna roll and she said it wastoo hot spicy, more than she's used to. But she almost ate it all because she said it was delicious. So still good but beforwarned. We ate in the back room where I had never eaten before. Very spacious. Typical, a couple people speaking Japanese, made it more authentic! Our combination tempura had shrimp, sweet potato, zucchini, broccoli, and green bell pepper. Read more

One of the most diverse japanese menus in all of Sacramento! Their sushis are alright for their price as well as their beef... teriyaki dinners! Salad and their miso soup were alright. Really friendly waiters, and when they open at 5:00 there's no wait! Read more

Tonkotsu ramen: 2.5 stars. Lacking in flavor. Only half an egg. The broth could?ve been hotter (temperature wise). Ryujin Ramen... house in dt sac has better quality for Ramen Sushi: 3 stars. I don?t like a lot of sauce on my sushi. I want to enjoy theflavors of everything else. Other than the excess sauce, the rolls and fillings were good amounts The inside of this place isway bigger than I originally thought! Definitely enough seating for a big group of people Decent service, waitresses weren?taround a whole lot if you needed something, but we got our order in good timing, the wait for food wasn?t long and they camearound for water refill Overall, decent lunch experience but I wouldn?t go out of my way to come eat here Read more
