Came for the lunch and was impressed with the food and the service. Outdoor seating is comfortable and in a nice part of... town. For under 25 bucks including tip it is slightly more expensive than other downtown lunch options but also a higher endoption. Spanish vibes on point. Salmon and salad were both flavored perfectly, I enjoyed the caper sauce on the salmon. Greatplace for a business lunch. Read more

Outdoor dining delight in Sac. Spanish theme with tapas, sangria, and other Iberian delights. Not sure if they take... reservations, but on a Friday night we called ahead and we're seated at 6:30 without a problem. $25 a person, for food & adrink. Great friendly not-too-friendly service. Read more

Nothing special, the price (high) do not reflect the quality of the food (very average). We seat inside were I thought we can... enjoy some fresh ac but no, it was very hot, they have a couple of fan but they never turn them on. An advice, be sure to leavea tip or they will tip themselves the 20% without even ask. Surely I won't go back. Read more

I really enjoy this restaurant ambiance..feels very cozy and homelike....went for a small dinner party and food was excellent..I... had the sea bass. Service wasn't great, entrees came out at different times, which wasn't ideal, but may have been due to latearribing guests. Second time no problems. Will be going back. Read more

I can't wait to return and try more dishes. My first visit with my wife was epic. We had the charcuterie and manchego cheese... board, lamb skewers and the paella Valenciana. I paired each dish with a glass of wine. going with a Fino sherry, Rias Baixasalbarino and a Rioja. Everything was delicious. For desert, we had the white chocolate soup with raspberry drizzle andchocolate truffles. Read more

I've been looking forward to visiting Aioli Bodega Espanola since moving to Sacramento in November. This place was a serious let... down, and unfortunately it had a lot to do with the service. We will not be returning. We made reservations and arrived a fewminutes early. It's unclear where the entrance is located, so we guessed and walked in the only door we could find. My fiancebegan to ask a waiter where the correct entrance was, but was silenced with a finger held up in his face. We were then signaledto follow him. He walked to a table outside and silently placed two menu's down, then walked away. This was our first impressionof the restaurant, and we should have left. Next came the dirty plates, and I couldn't help but notice we were never offeredbread like the tables around us because I was really hungry and it took quite a while for our small plates to arrive. The DuckRagu lasagna was the best thing we ordered, but a surprisingly small portion for $20. The lamb skewers were decent. The papitaslooked pretty, but were bland and soft. And cold. The calamari rellenos was flavorless and honestly, a little gross. Read more
