I thought the sushi here was really good. I do wish they had a special sushi party platter option which a lot of places in the... area are lacking. Pricing is also on par with what is in the area which is still a bit much so I could never go to a place likethis consistently. Read more
Although I've never sat inside this restaurant to eat, I retrieve my food from them about once or twice per month. They have... always been nice and helpful with anything that I need. Also, I still notice that their restaurant is quite clean and wellorganized. The food quality is picture perfect. It never fails to impress me. I almost don't want to eat it, but it's sodelicious. So, yes, I highly recommend this place to any sushi lover. It's always fresh and finely served. Read more

This place was outstanding! The quality of the food was excellent. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. Yes I have to... admit I clearly never learned how to use chopsticks. I was so amused when the waitress demonstrated how to use them also gave mea trainer piece to eat my sushi. It is the little gestures that makes this place very welcoming. I will definitely be back! My wife and I tried their food and were sorely disappointed. Firstly, we ordered a plate of sushi. It was good, if there's one... thing I can definitely advocate for it's their sushi. The presentation was good, the flavors were great, we liked everythingabout their sushi. But I can definitely also caution against ordering another of their dishes. When I was a kid my dad used tomake a roasted chicken and vegetable dish. It wasn't bad, but it certainly didn't have any seasoning or any sauces in it whichmade it not terrible interesting to eat. Imagine my surprise when I tasted Yamada Sushi's chicken teriyaki and it tasted exactlylike they took my dad's roasted chicken and vegetables dish and just added broccoli to it. Normally when you order chickenteriyaki you have two expectations: 1. that it has chicken in it, and 2. that it has teriyaki in it. Yamada Sushi's chickenteriyaki had ZERO teriyaki flavor in it. Not a drop of any soy-sugar mixture whatsoever. It was roasted chicken and vegetablesand that was it. My dad's roasted chicken and vegetables isn't something I would have paid someone to make at $9 a plate andYamada Sushi charges double for what is basically the same thing.
