Dropped in at this little gem on the way home from Imagine. The food was phenomenal. Hot and fresh from the fryer. The greens... were a little spicy but other than that we were very pleased with everything we ordered. The staff was super sweet and helpful. The tartar sauce was probably the best I've ever had and the cups you put it in were plenty big. Definitely would recommendanyone to drop in and grab you a plate. Read more
Me and my husband stopped in for a burger. The cashier was not friendly at all. We told her the single burger combo- husband... double meat combo and she asked how we wanted it. I said we wanted it all the way. She proceeded to ask what kind of cheese. Wesaid American. The total was $32 and some change. I asked how is that if combos are 11.99 and 13.99. She said cheese is extra. Ilooked at menu $1.59 for a piece of cheese. My goodness!!! I told her no please take it off. It still was so expensive evenafter that!! And I found out later we could have gotten a senior discount! It?s like the young girl with purple hair on herponytail just didn?t care! She had to have known after the cheese incident we were trying to save a little on the really highprice of this basic fried thin piece of meat hamburger! Why wouldn?t she have offered us a senior discount? I?ll tell you whybecause she truly didn?t care! We almost walked out before she ordered because of the way she didn?t greet us friendly likeFlying Burger should have trained her to do!! I just had to give everyone a heads up about this place!! I had the hamburger steak patties with fries and brown gravy. Really good food. Service is great and the staff always... friendly. A little more than I would like to spend on lunch but I do feel it is a much higher quality meal than other places. My wallet/wife fails to agree! Read more
The fish was good but not great like I wanted it to be. The fries were just right. The service was good, and the restaurant was... clean. Loved the grilled shrimp with yummy chicken strip and amazing fries. Mom had delicious fried catfish and fried shrimp. We went... about 1:30 and no one was in there. Slow service and our table and booth were not super clean. But food is good. A bit pricy,but I would go again to try other items on the menu. Read more
I got to Bayou Catfish, Scott style. Apparently Scott is the owner, and this is the off-menu dish he's been eating lately. It's... grilled catfish over rice, topped with fried crawfish tails and gumbo broth (everything but the meat). Each part of thiscombination was seasoned perfectly, and the catfish was almost blackened with a fantastic seasoning and char marks. It was thebest dish I have had in so very long! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Several items to chose from on the menu but the cashier suggested we try the burger, we did... and they were delicious! My son also had a cinnamon roll and loved it too. The restaurant was also nice and clean. Definitely agood eating spot! Read more
