I?ve gone to Colonial off and on for over 40 years. Under new management (a few years ago), the decor has been updated and the... food is excellent! Service is wonderful too and they?re all so friendly. Makes you feel like you are in your family?s place! This place is a reminder how much someone cares about their place. I really love their building, their dining room, the booths,... the tables and the decor. What beautiful paintings they have on the walls. The simple menus are awesome. We ate breakfast here.It is the first time I have seen salmon cakes for breakfast. They are the best salmon cakes I have ever had. Very pleasantpeople that serve you. What a great start to our day. Read more
I?m giving one star because the staff were very friendly but the food left a lot to be desired. I got the ?king? burger and at... $14 it?s a ripoff. It?s basically a standard cheeseburger (lettuce tomato, mayo) that should cost $7-8 at most. To top it of thebeef had an odd flavor, possibly it was cross contaminated with something else. I don?t like to waste food so I powered throughit but it was such a disappointment. My nephew got fettuccine Alfredo and it was worse than what you could get in the frozensection. Zero seasoning besides a light sprinkle of pepper. Extremely bland The fried chicken salad was good but to be fairit?s tough to mess that up. I wish I would?ve ordered that I know small restaurants are struggling, I get costs are going upand cuts are having to be made to survive.
