Roy's is another regular stop for us. Not a bad meal in the place. We love all the meals offered here. The fried pies are... delicious. In a nutshell, you can't beat this food and the crowd that fills these seats feel the same here. You gotta try Roy's. Read more

I don't have enough words to explain how much and the reasons why I love this place. We've been twice since moving to the area... and we are planning on going back on multiple occasions! The food is amazing, service is great. Great small town feel to walkingin and being greeted. Definitely a must go to location for some hometown cooking and BBQ! Even their catfish is delicious!!!!! A must visit destination if you are in the area. It came with highest recommendations from our local friends. It did not... disappoint. If you are a fan of great, home style cuisine then do not pass this by. They feature signature catfish (prepared ina variety of options both fried and otherwise), barbecue and fried and barbecue chicken. There had to have been at least 10daily fresh made side dishes. Do not forget to grab a few peach and apple fried pies for the road. Comes with highestrecommendations! Read more

I was recommended trying this place out by the people at the Emerson plant. They made a very bold claim that this is the best... BBQ in Kentucky...I must say, I was not disappointed. Real down to Earth personnel. Very friendly. The food is damned good. WishI could come back here more often! Read more

It looks amazing. The pulled pork was fabulous and the brisket was good until it got cold then they had the same weird taste of... the ribs. The ribs tasted like they where reheated in a plastic bag in the microwave. The rolls and cornbread was also warmed inthe microwave. I was disappointed I was so excited to try it, and for the most part 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Then my husband askedfor no sauce and his was smothered in it. Now I get sometimes that can't be helped cause food is basted with the sauce but whenasked for no sauce there should have been no extra sauce put on it. Plus side my niece enjoyed the the chicken strips and fries. Read more

The BBQ at this place is good. But the Cajun catfish is today for on the menu. Ask for extra seasoning. What a great down-home... place. Everybody there knows each other. I definitely will be back. Was not a fan of the barbecue sauce. Video review comingsoon to the Jack on the go show on YouTube. Read more

Delicious food, delicious fried pie, excellent service, great quiet homey atmosphere. Absolutely nothing to complain about,... except for how far it is from home. We had the fried chicken and the pork plate, everything was excellent. The sweet tea was asgood or better than any I've had in my life, the pork was perfect, tender, flavorful, spicy. The sides were all great, thesquash, Mac and cheese, perfectly seasoned, great home cooked tasting food. The potato salad reminded me of what my mother made15 years ago. After paying, we decided on a peach fried pie to take with us, and it was amazing. Tender, fluffy, buttery crust, dusted with sugar and filled with sweet, tender peaches. Can't beat that, absolutely recommend if you're in the area. They alsohad a drive through and carry out, however you get it, I'm sure it's great. Read more
