Food was first rate as it always is. Servings were just right ( take home box was stuffed). Now as to our server ....... I'd go... back just to have her wait on us again! Paid $18.52 for the 6 jumbo shrimp meal with 2 sides. Got home & saw the shrimp we're regular sized shrimp, not jumbo. Not sure... if it was a mistake or this is what they consider jumbo shrimp. I can buy a 1lbs bag of jumbo shrimp at the grocery store forthe same price! Read more

This place is amazing?.food and staff. The fish, fried pickles, and onion rings are excellent. The pieces of fish are extremely... large, but excellent?no fishy taste at all. It?s gonna cost about $20 per person, but this place is well worth it! My wife andI eat here all the time and have never eaten anything here that we did not enjoy. I gave Sam's this rating mostly because of the nice staff. They were friendly and accommodating. The food just didn't measure... up. We both had catfish and I'm not sure what happened but it was just bad. I don't know if it was the cook ( we were there on aSunday) or they were cooking with old oil.....????. I'm astounded at the other reviews suggesting it was the best food ever. Weeither had a one off event, the other reviewers have a vested interest in the place or they just don't get out much????. Wow oh wow. Today was our first visit and we were totally blown away. The service was great. Mandy was our server and was so... friendly and attentive. The food came fast and it was amazing. Fantastic. Seriously the other seafood place in town better stepup. The fish fillets were substantial pieces not thin strips. Perfectly cooked and so flavorful. I could go on but everythingwas perfect. So flavorful and not greasy at ALL. Definitely a new favorite stop. Read more

Very nice and clean. Fast service with great food. The Sam's Special is so good with the red beans and rice. And ya can't go... wrong with the fried pickles! Nice clean restrooms.
