Last time I?ll ever be ordering from here again. Called in to place a delivery order, gave them our address and was told it... would be here in an hour. A hour and a half goes by so we call to find out what?s going on and they claim they thought we had apick up order so our pizza has been sitting on the counter getting cold for the last hour. Why in the heck would I give myaddress for a pick up order?!!! The foray question they ask when you call is pick up or delivery, how do you mess that up. GotZERO apology, a whole bunch of attitude and ended up having to go pick up the pizzas. To top it all off, the food SUCKED!!!!Waste of money and time!! DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE. Read more
The pizza was burnt, barely any sauce or cheese. You can order the pizza with kite sauce or extra sauce, but not ?regular? sauce... (same with the cheese). Also, no flavor, very bland. Delivery was quick which was nice Read more
Go with your gut and save your money!! We ordered from South Shore Pizza again against our better judgment and sure enough they... messed up our order again. We ordered from them for the first time about a month ago. The food was awesome. All of the menuitems we ordered were good! We enjoyed it so much that we ordered from them again a couple weeks later. Unfortunately, the foodthen was not as good nor was it correct. We did not complain because we were hungry and just wanted to eat. We decided to givethem another try this evening. I was a tad skeptical, but my son loves the mac and cheese bowl... so we gave it another go. Anhour after placing our order our food arrived. I asked for no bacon on my son's mac and cheese bowl... bacon was on it. I askedfor no ranch and to add lettuce on my sub...I received a skimpy sub with ranch and no lettuce. I ordered a chicken bacon ranchsub... and there were pieces of beef in it. There can't be any quality control on what leaves that store. Can't be. This use to be my go to place whenever I wanted pizza and wings. Delivery can be a little slow sometimes but that didn't really... matter. The past few months the quality of food has gone down in my opinion. To the point that I stopped going there alltogether and driving out of my way to East Coast pizza off Big Bend road. Basically driving past this place to drive 15-20minutes down the road. I decided to give this place another try out. But I called ahead of time and spoke to the manager thatwas there that day. She was very polite and listened to my concerns. I explained to here that I use to order several times aweek and now I do not. I asked that she would make sure that the quality of my food was good! I shouldn't have to call and makespecial requests just to get food made correctly. Since that one time I've attempted again to order hoping they would get itright. The pizza is just not what it use to be. Which is a huge disappointment! Today was the last time I will ever go thereagain. I ordered my usual pizza. Sausage and Pepperoni. Because of my previous disappointments with the quality of their food. Ialways check what it looks like before paying. And it was exactly as expected! Where's the cheese! The explanation that wasgiven was that for months they have been over proportioning their pizza's with cheese. And they now decide to scale back to cutcost. So basically the customer gets a lower quality product in order to fatten their pockets! They definitely lost a customerfor good! I'll make the drive past them to go pick up a better quality pizza. UPDATE The owner did add a $15 credit to my account. I placed a delivery order for a large mushroom pizza, a large pepperoni... and sausage pizza, and a 2 liter of coke. Again the 2 topping pizza was great but the mushroom was short on cheese again. Googlewon't allow me to upload pics from this order to show. I will order again because of the owner's immediate response to theissue, but will order light sauce in the future. First time ordering from here. Website is easy to navigate. The deliverydriver was awesome. Super friendly and doubled checked to make sure my order was complete with my extra garlic sauce. The kid'spizza (pepperoni and sausage) came out great. My children said it was the best pizza ever. The dessert pie was delicious andcame with more than enough icing. However, my small mushroom pizza was disappointing. As you can see from the pictures, therewas barely any cheese on the pizza! There was, however, an absurd amount of sauce. I usually order light sauce, but chose not tofor this order because everyone in my neighborhood said how everything was great about them, including sauce ratio. It held truefor the big pizza. Needless to say, my pizza was not satisfying. Was really hoping this would be my go-to place, but I don'tthink it will be. Not saying I won't order from here in the future, but weekly Friday night pizza won't be ordered from here. Read more
1st time ordering a pepperoni pizza. Pretty simple order. Opened the box and the pie looked thirsty? super dry. Guess I?ll stick... with hungry Howies. I?m still puzzled how the midwest has better pie than anything I?ve encountered down here. Read more
