I have tried Little Italy twice, once by delivery and once by pickup. They do have some good food but it seems to depend on what... you order. Fettuccine Alfredo was excellent both times, Ravioli and Spaghetti with meatballs were good, Chicken Marsala needsimprovement and wings were excellent if I ordered hot but I ordered mild. For me they were not good because my mouth was on firebut my husband who likes them hot enjoyed them. Lemon Cake and cannoli were delicious. I know the restaurant is new so I hopeyou keep improving. After 28 years of living in Winston Little Italy?s authenticity and quality is superior by far to any other Italian restaurant... around or for that matter back up North. They take no shortcuts. Good competitive prices, however I would pay double for thequality of their recipes and overall taste compared to their competitors. Roughly only a 15 minute drive from anywhere inWinston. Food was bland and had no flavor, salmon was like rubber. Was not just my dish either but others had the same complaint as well.... Bread was served with butter not olive oil, whatever not a big deal. The only plus side is that the shrimp was grilled andseasoned perfectly. Expected better since place is well reviewed. Read more
Hubby and I visited for the first time and SUPER happy with the experience. Quality and taste were exceptional. Server was... awesome. Each plate deserved a picture. YUM! First off, the new place is very nice! If you get cold easily, take a sweater, because the A/C was cranked up. Our waitress... was very sweet. Both mine and my husband?s side salads were good with Balsamic Vinaigrette. He ordered the Chicken Parmigianaand I ordered Chicken Alfredo with mushrooms added. His chicken was somewhat tough initially, but the kitchen was quick toreplace it with a fresh plate. The Chicken Alfredo tasted great. Overall a good experience! Definitely recommend trying. If you are looking for perfection.. You will find it here. A lovely family who offers up not only great food and friendship, but... an experience. The New Location is gorgeous and we are happy for them! With years of Italian family cooking they offer so manydelicious offerings. Wine, Beer, and Desserts. I have added the current Menus for your convenience. I wish I could tell you myfavorite item, but they are all my favorite. I have never in over 20 years had anything subpar at any of the locations. I dohighly recommend trying the Italian Cheeseburger. It will blow your mind. Not your typical Burger. This should be entered intocontest, as it deserves a gold medal. The Pizza is Tops, Subs, Pasta dishes, Salads.... I am absolutely starving now justthinking about it all. My Husband is a pizza connoisseur ?.(truck driver) I don?t care for pizza that well but when I tell you!!! ?they have the best... pizza that I have ever tasted in my life??I kid you not ?go check them out. trucks drivers around the states check them out?Ithas the real Italy feel .
