The only thing that?s keeping me from giving this thing a five is the fact that the crab wontons were a little bit stale. Aside... from that I ordered teriyaki chicken sticks, egg drop soup, chicken and broccoli, and a sesame chicken combination with friedrice. My kids loved it all and they can be really hard to please. Ordered sesame chicken with white rice. One star bc the white rice was good- sticky but not gummy and a second star bc the lady... was nice. Chicken was awful. It tasted like what I imagine an over cooked rat coated in heated jar sauce would taste like. Thelittle bit of chicken in each bite was dry, tough, chewy, inedible and a grayish brown color. A second visit to the Golden Wok convinced me that it is probably one of the best authentic food restaurant in the area. I used to love this place but since the pandemic she has raised her prices tremendously. I always order the salt and pepper... shrimp because is the ONLY place that makes this dish. It was $10. Now it's $15 same serving size same amount of shrimp. Ialways call ahead and she always says 20 minutes. My last visit I waited an hour. I know that she waited until I arrived tostart my ordered. I would not recommend if you want something fast. The wait times are insane and the price for Chinese isalmost as much as a Steakhouse. Read more
