Was so excited to go to this seafood restaurant. I went for dinner and ordered a rib eye steak plus scallops. I said I would... pay$1.00 more for broiled scallops since I am diabetic. Well the scallops came fried and I mentioned it to the young waitress.She was extremely rude with her answer. She did eventually bring me broiled ones. My husband ordered stuffed flounder.the skinwas left on the bottom piece . It was burnt and cold. Sorry to say this was our first and last experience at this place. Read more

Considering my father's roots were in Brunswick County NC, seafood is a big business. My first job after moving to North... Carolina was in Calabash, seafood restaurant of the world. Well Coronet....omg, your food is GREAT! Closest taste I have foundto the coast. Real seafood, real flavor, excellent prices and wonderful staff. Atmosphere was terrific! Wide open aisles whichmade it easy for my disabled mother and brother to navigate. And Lana, our waitress.....what can I day but thank you. You arevery kind and caring! Thank you so much. Great local seafood restaurant. Met group of 15 people here to eat. Great customer service, owner even stopped by to inquire.... Great hushpuppys. I ordered fried oysters and they were fair. Came with tiny slaw, I passed on and I got a very large bakedsweet potato for side. Read more

My all-time favorite seafood restaurant is Coronet Seafood Restaurant in Rural Hall, NC. Delicious and fresh seafood that is... always cooked to perfection! The waitresses are always making sure everything is okay and checking to see if you need anythingelse. Management may check to make sure your food and experience are great. More food than you pay for! Always a pleasant visit. The Owner is constantly checking on folks and welcomes many at the door... when he can. Wait Staff is top notch. Can't beat the food. An abundance of delicious for a fair price. Fast delivery of freshHot food. I love coming here. I have treated my employees at times near the holidays here and plan to do so again and again. Theonly thing that I wish so much... Is that they would be open for Lunch. I imagine there is a Gentleman's agreement with TheMayflower Seafood Restaurant down the street and I respect that, but this is truly the superior of the two and I love Mayflower.Especially the Clam Strips...OMG Keep up the excellence!!
