The food was good but the lady that seated us made us wait even though they had an open clean table. She just dropped the plates... on the table when she brought our food. I didn't ask but she appeared to be the owner or person in charge! Glad I was only intown for my wedding because I would not return. Read more
We?ve eaten here before, always considered it average food and service. We tried to go about 10am on a Friday because our... preferred restaurant had a long wait. They were fairly busy but had 3 or 4 open tables. We stood in the lobby area waiting for5 minutes for an employee to acknowledge us. Finally an unfriendly girl asked if we were waiting for a table for mike. I saidno but could we give our name. She ignored me and walked outside. She then walked by us several more times ignoring us as didthe other 7 employees. We finally got the hint and left. If you want mediocre food with poor, unfriendly service the Altocafe is your place. Alto?s was an excellent choice for lunch! We had a cheeseburger, chicken salad, the kids had mini corndogs, and we also tried... out their pork sandwich. All were delicious and freshly made! The servers were super friendly. We had apple cobbler for dessertwith vanilla bean ice cream. My husband and I fought over it, and then debated ordering another. We recently had breakfast at Alto Cafe. There were four in our group and everyone loved their meal. Service was quick and prices... reasonable. Our only regret was that we didn?t find it on the first day of our trip. Definitely worth a visit if you are in thearea! Read more
