I'm changing my rating. Not sure why I rated it so low as I've never had a bad meal here. My wife and I make the 30-40 minute... drive to Giovanni's a few times a year just for the food. The Special Stromboli is by far my favorite thing at Giovanni's. TheGarlic Knots are awesome. The baked Ziti is delicious cheesy goodness. My wife loves their Shrimp Scampi. We've taken myparents there acting like it was some sort of fancy restaurant because it has fancy food taste, with a family restaurantatmosphere, and pizza shop prices. We come here often and every time the food is ALWAYS good. From their Pizzas (get the Detroit style!!), to their wings, salads,... and cheesesteaks, you can't go wrong. There is sometimes long waits which are completely understandable and definitely worth thewait. Just be cautious to order early on a Friday night! Raised the bar for local pizza joints in the area. Went in for a quick bite to eat. Ordered kids spaghetti, chicken cheesesteak, fries and a slice. Items came out one by one. ... The kids spaghetti came out with plastic in it. Told our waitress and she did nothing about it. Another waitress went and toldthe kitchen. The last thing to come out was the slice 30 minutes in to the meal and it wasn?t even a fresh pie. When we wentto pay the cashier asked how the meal was and we told her but she didn?t seem to care either. Usually love the food but tonightthey left a lot to be desired. They didn't have tzatziki sauce to accompany my lamb gyro, which I missed. My daughter had fried shrimp and fries, which she... rated well. An enormous calzone was ordered by a buddy. It was extremely good, he said. My husband consumed the entire PhillyCheese Steak sandwich that he had ordered. Because the amounts are so large, the rest of us had to leave with boxes of leftoverfood! Read more
The best real pizza ever! Great place! The only problem sometimes is the servers. 2 girls were talking about tips a few feet... away from me and saying she didn?t get enough from me. She was sorry when I said I heard that conversation. But I?ll always go???? Read more
Cheesesteak hoagie is absolutely amazing! Pizza is awesome, the salads are great, and so far they?ve had great quality lettuce... that?s not wilted or icky like I?ve had so many other places. Chicken tenders are great. The whole family loves this place. Thepaper you use on the hoagies is such a nice touch. Read more
Foods always good, but could work on there timing. Numerous times I?ve ordered during none busy hours and I?ve waited 20 mins in... there for them to finish up the order. Takes them a full hour to make the food. No sorry or anything people are blessed to beeating their food apparently. Read more
