It's like eating at a friend's house. A friend who is a very good cook, with a welcoming and warm personality. The food is... always fresh and delicious. We've tried a number of dishes. Went for lunch & ordered the meat lasagna, it was awesome!!! The garlic rolls are so delicious & I loved the meat sauce, so I... bought a quart of it to bring home, I also got a chicken parm sandwich to go and toasted that the next day at home & it was verygood. I grew up near the original location in North Miami (no longer there). I was lucky enough to have met Mario and his awesome... family. There are no better garlic rolls, on this planet, lol. While visiting our son we decided to go for pizza. Our son recommended Mario's. When we walked in I knew immediately that the... food would be good. Coming from New York the place had the feel of an old time pizzeria. The pizza, garlic knots and meatballswere excellent! The service was great! For 2 pies, garlic knots and a plate of meatballs for five people the bill was $63including drinks. This is definitely my go to place for pizza when we visit our son and family. Read more

Ordered a mushroom and sausage large pie for $24! you would think after paying this much for a large pie they would give you a... decent portion of what you asked for. I come home to find 2 maybe 3 pieces of sausage. Will not order from this place again. Read more

I went today after about 3 years it was even better than I remembered! Everything was so good! My waitress was supper nice. My... pizza took a little longer and the waitress came to apologize and management came right after offering soup or anything. We had the veggie pizza and, while it was decent, I don't think I'd ever get a craving for it. The garlic rolls were also... decent, but super greasy - the dipping sauce was good and plentiful! My favorite part was our server Melissa! She was superfriendly, fast, and efficient! Read more
