Definitely the best Detroit style pizza in the Royal oak area. Insanely fresh, slightly fermented dough, and beautiful burnt... cheese around the edge definitely puts this place above the rest. Not to mention the gelato is absolute fire. Highly recommendthe chicken carbonara Pizza!! Read more
Awesome pizza and awesome service. Came here after reading the good reviews, which didn't disappoint! Staff was super friendly... and after finding out our group never had faygo before (being out-of-staters), they gave us the rock & rye flavor for free withsauce cups for shot cups ????. And they were right about how delicious that combo of soda and pizza was. The pizza we got wasthe double pepperoni, which tasted so crispy and had the right amount of sauce (which was important for me since the last coupletimes I had detroit style pizza, they were too dry). My first time trying there food and I have to say that it was delicious! My whole family definitely enjoyed the pizza and... cheese bread! We tried the Maui pizza the ham bacon and pineapple were fresh and high quality ingredients. The sauce tastedhomemade and the crust carmalizes wonderfully on the edges! LOOK NO FURTHER! This is THE BEST Detroit style pizza I?ve encountered. I was in the middle of devouring the eggplant parmigiana... pizza when I was compelled to write a review. The dough is fluffy and crisp in all the right spots, the crust is crisped toperfection, the sauce is tangy and juicy, and the cheese oozes throughout the rest of the operation just perfectly. Exquisite.It?s clear the ingredients are top-knotch, fresh. Additionally, the staff go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service.It?s rare to find truly great food made with heart and soul.
