Noodles used to be my go-to for a quick and casual meal. They have considerably downsized this location's footprint and ... unfortunately the quality of the food as well. My most recent orders were missing items, poorly prepared, and I don't even wantto think about what the kitchen and prep areas look like based on the front of the house. But today I was desperate and decidedto give them one more try. When I arrived to pick up my online order I witnessed two employees engaged in a heated and profanespat. They were not in the back, but out front and right by the pick up area. Neither acknowledged me in any way or seemed tocare that I could clearly hear and see them. No, I didn't whip out my phone and post this on TikTok; I grabbed my soup and gotthe hell out of there. And my soup was lukewarm and just meh. My observation going into Noodles and Company in Royal Oak 1. There were 3 staff working on a Sunday afternoon that I could see.... There were 2 customers sitting together at a table. Their meals were finished (so the restaurant was not busy). I noticed theinside looked unclean. Tables and floor not clean. Food / crumbs on tables and floor. Cooking area -not clean. The 2 girlsworking were just talking when we came in. 2. We were unable to order a larger portion for a meal because the restaurant did nothave the larger bowls. We had to get small bowls. 3. Terrible location I really enjoy this franchise but... I tried going yesterday at 9pm when google and the door say they close at... 10 I was told they were closed. I gave it another shot today for lunch.... I walked in and all the staff was sitting at tableson their phones. After I came in they all reluctantly got up and went behind the counter to look busy. I had an ominous feelingthey were mad I was there. I stood there at the cluttered register waiting for at least 5 minutes until anyone greeted me whichwas some guy who came out of the back and not the 3 employees who were trying to look busy. I ordered my food and when they gaveme my food I of course had to check it and they had forgotten 1 of 4 items. I asked about it and the staff did not say a wordbut looked in the steamer to find my missing pot stickers and packaged it up and just said "here". When I got home and opened myfood it had one big piece of broccoli in it instead of it being cut up like normal. The broccoli was also raw. Definitely notworth the $35 it costs for two people. I ate here a few days ago with my sister and son, and I have to say the bathrooms here were disgusting, not only were they very... dirty but neither of the restrooms had a baby changing station, even though the stall were significantly large enough to allowfor one to be in there, also on top of that there is not even a hook on the door to hang up a purse/diaperbag. The 2 restroomshere are huge in comparison to most restaurant bathrooms so there is no excuse that there should not be a baby changing stationin at least one of them. And at the very lest offer a hook for hanging up a coat/purse/diaperbag because the cleanliness of thefloor would absolutely not have been a place I would have set my diaperbag. Bare minimum the stalls need to be cleaned.Disgusting! Read more
