I love this location. The employees are great and so is the food. What I don?t appreciate is the owner channeling our phone... calls to a CALL CENTER! What the hell did he do that for?! I?m sorry, but you can hardly understand anything the peopleanswering the phones are saying! It was the most frustrating encounter just to order a pizza. My wife order a pizza for me as a nice gesture for valentine's day for dinner. The first delivery was supposed to be at 9pm. I... called asking where the delivery was at. They said they tried calling the number and when my wife tried calling back they didn'tpick up. They claim they came I to the building when they did not. They said they would redeliver the pizza and it would be anadditional 30 minutes. Not a big deal until I open my pizza. There is no topping and it's not even cut. The person on the phonewas rude. Overpriced junk food. The pizza was poorly made, had about 2 inches of crust, and tasted like it was made with extremely cheap... ingredients - especially the cheese. It was cooked well though. You can get much much better pizza in Royal Oak for the sameprice. Read more

I ordered a pizza and wings from Hungry Howies for the first time. I read reviews before I got my order but I always like to... form my own opinion. So I told the guy on the phone the delivery guy needs to wear a mask to come in our building-I live in asenior apt bldg. so he tells me then I need to meet the guy at the door (downstairs). I thought about this while I waited forthe delivery so I'm paying $4.75 for delivery which is not even a mile away and I have to meet the guy downstairs, what kind ofservice is that? When the guy showed up I asked him if they wear masks inside the store. He said yes but not when he'sdelivering. Ok so the pizza was decent. The crust was supposed to be butter flavor, crust had no flavor, just a normal pizza.Wings were pretty good. They didn't have any liter pop so he brought me 3 20 ozers. which was fine. I wish I would have checked the reviews before ordering from this location. I placed an online order and continued to check the... status of the pizza on their ?track your pizza? feature. We are located 6 minutes from this location. After 20 minutes of being?in route? I called to confirm that it was on its way. The employee who answered the phone seemed disinterested in our issue.And had no empathy that we had been waiting over an hour for our pizza. He claimed that it was made and just waiting to bedelivered. Which means, at the very least, the online ?tracking system? was inaccurate. If I hadn?t called, I doubt it wouldhave even come. Good pizza, delivery has been within a reasonable time. I have personally never had a problem with the staff, but have seen... issues with other customers when I have picked up pizzas before, as other reviews have mentioned. Felt like they could have beenhandled a bit better, but for me personally it has been fine. Read more
