Just like most Applebee's getting seated to forever. The manager seated us, and was very rude. The bartender (Lissy) was amazing... and so nice. Read more
This environment was much warmer than expected to begin with. Ordering drinks and food took much longer from a normal dine in... restaurant, considering our party was only two. The manager was heard/seen constantly visiting tables nearby giving hissincerest apologies to inpatient customers for certain errors. Our waiter was definitely the nicest and kept a positive attitudeabout the situation she knew was bad. The food was also decent but definitely would not recommend visiting this establishmentanytime soon. Read more

Stopped by to wait out the traffic and have dinner. The reception by the hostess was nice and I was seated immediately. My... waitress was friendly and efficient and I had the white queso dip and water with lemon within 5 minutes of being seated. The dipwasn't exactly creamy but it had flavor and was just warm enough to eat immediately so I did. Then came the Tex Mex bowl withshrimp. I was really looking forward to the mixed greens because I'd been wanting a salad every since I drove by Salad To Go(review coming soon????) earlier that day. Also staring cilantro lime rice, guacamole and black bean and corn salsa. I dug in todiscover tons of iceberg lettuce with maybe a bit of romaine sprinkled round to say it's "mixed greens". To say I wasdisappointed would be an understatement. Aside from that it was well seasoned and very flavorful. That lettuce tho SMH. I leftfeeling filled but somehow not quite satisfied. This was the first and last trip to Applebee's in Rowlett. The salad was okay and together the water and salad was almost 20$.... The bathroom wasn't clean. No paper towels so dry your hands and it smelled bad. The waiter and the service was good. Read more
