A very traditional Chinese/Taiwanese breakfast and pastry place, where the decor is old, everything seems a little greasy, food... items are spread out onto dining tables where anyone can touch, and they only take cash. However, this is the one place whereyou can find truly old-fashioned items that are harder and harder to find even in the East Asian food Mecca of San GabrielValley. Oh, if you buy 10 of any pastry item, you get another one free. As a Taiwanese breakfast place, you?ll find authenticChinese fried cruller (??), sesame flaky bread (??), soybean milk (????), green onion scrambled egg pancakes(????), and friedcruller stick rice rolls(????), pork veggie and veggie steamed buns (??????). Additionally, they have old style flaky Chinesepastries with green onions (???), radish (????), red bean paste (???), or jujube paste (???) and many, many other items, fromsteamed sticky rice in bamboo leaves with pork or red bean paste (??????????), braised beef shanks (???), to sweet chrysanthemumdrink (???). Food was pretty good but the customer service was not good the employees were very rude and instructions were unclear. Its a... little pricey and environment was really dirty. But overall food was good. The sweet rice roll was too sweet and had a lot ofsugar. Not too happy about it especially because of the customer service. Many workers were yelling around. Thanks. Excellent authentic Chinese/Taiwanese breakfast, the ?? here can?t be beat. I?ve come regularly over the years, despite the... prices being a bit higher than desired. Definitely not the cleanest? you almost always have to holler for someone to come cleanthe tables, but you?re not here for the ambience anyway. You?re here for the food ???? Read more

The breakfast is really good and the place is clean. Seating is limited so takeaway may be a better option during busy hours. If... you don?t mind sharing a table with strangers you can sit down wherever there is space. Definitely must try the salty soy beanand the turnip cakes! Read more

I love Taiwanese breakfast, so I would recommend the place. It gets busy. Seating is limited and you will have to share tables.
