The thing I like most is the low-key, family atmosphere: the owners are there all the time dispensing suggestions and just... having a chitchat. The breakfast was very well presented and abundant. There is a trail next to the property, if you are notsoaking in the pool. Wifi not the best but if you are in Catskill for vacation what does it matter? I didn?t find any insectsin my room, it was clean and quiet. Read more
Great, family oriented establishment! Simple accommodations, but clean and everything you would want or need. It's very... reminiscent of visiting the German or Austrian countryside, which is exactly what we were seeking. Owners are very nice and havea beautiful, traditional hofbrauhaus on the property as well, with dancefloor and live entertainment. Highly recommend visitingthe hofbrauhaus. Excellent traditional German food along with more American cuisine. There is a reason we return every year(from NJ, NH, MD, VA, NC, and FL) for a family reunion. Read more
The decoration and beer was good. The food was disappointing. The goulash didn't have a lot of flavor. My gf ordered a chicken... salad and neither of our meals came with much protein. The apple strudel was ok.. It probably would've been better if it hadbeen warmed up before serving us. Read more
Place is cozy and rustic and rooms are large. Could use some rennovation in some areas. Breakfast only is served in dining room.... Can get dinner at Mountain Brauhaus across road. Great food and drink and entertainment. Cordial tmosphere. Read more
The atmosphere could not be better! We dined on the porch and saw a deer feeding in the field across the road. The servers were... great too...friendly, helpful and very efficient. We were seated quickly, and the service was great, even though I was with aparty of eight. Good, hearty, comfort food with generous plates and delicious cake for dessert. Read more
