This was the most tender, lean brisket we've had from any Smokey Mo's! It was delicious, no fat at all.

I stopped here for lunch on my way to Inner Space Cavern. The restaurant is clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. I... tried the smoked turkey breast sandwich and it was delicious! Very tender, smoky and flavorful! And i thought the portion sizewas impressive. I would definitely order it again. I had the macaroni and cheese as my side and that was good but not as stellaras the sandwich. I've had much better mac and cheese. The staff was really friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to order. I wanted to try several meats. I selected the... three meat meal. I chose the brisket, sausage, and turkey. For the sides, I selected potato salad and creamed corn. Thebrisket was moist, had the smoke ring, but didn't have much flavor. The sausage was okay but reminded me of store-bought sausagelike Hillshire Farms. The turkey was very moist and tender. The flavor was pretty good but nothing to come back for. I was in the mood for bbq and I surely came to the right place. The interior was clean and the staff was friendly enough. I was... hungry and ready to eat. I ordered the sliced brisket and turkey with coleslaw, baked beans and macaroni. When I went to get mydrink I encountered a wonderful smell of fresh jalapenos. They looked great. I grabbed a few and sat down to eat. The food waswonderful and those jalapenos were big juicy and delicious. A great compliment to the meal. The only issue I had was with thetemperature of the meat. It was barely warm. I thought that maybe it was because I poured bbq sauce on it that was sitting atroom temperature. Maybe, but the meat still could have been much warmer. The only reason I didn't complain was because the beansand macaroni were hot enough to make the meat warmer has I chewed them together, besides I was so hungry that once I startedeating I didnt want to stop. ???? I really liked the way the food was arranged as well. 4 stars only because the meat wasnt hotenough. Hope its better next time because I will be back............ so I came back on today Oct 5 and its the same issue: lukewarm meat. The turkey was barely warm and the brisket was cold after the second bite. This time I did ask the guy behind thecounter if he could warm the meat up. He said no. Apologizing because they had no microwave. I dont understand it. Ive giventhis place a good review and has even suggested it few times. Not anymore. I cant eat luke warm to cold meat. We were traveling from out of town on motorcycles. Due to rain, we didn't want to get back out so we searched for food delivery... option restaurants. Delicious food...easy order process....we received everything hot and fresh! (And relatively fast forFriday night delivery less than 30 minutes) would definitely recommend! Read more
