Really pretty good BBQ. All the meats and a nice selection of sides. And fresh Texas Toast instead of plain old bread is... wonderful. There's a small fixings bar with 2 kinds of onions, 2 kinds of pickles, and jalapenos. The banana pudding kind oflooks like gravy but was quite tasty. They also have peach cobbler. Read more
Great place to have BBQ. Great for grabbing lunch. Their ribs & chicken were very good. We got 2 kids meal and my kids devour... it. The beans lacked flavor, but by then all the sides we got were good. Great customer service. I would definitely go back toeat there. Read more

Tucked away in the shopping center you will find a little slice of Texas. Today I ordered a Mac and cheese plate, comes with one... side and toast as well as a drink. They have a island condiment bar with all your fixings. Onions sliced and chipped pickles,lemons and so forth. On the end there you will find extra sauce in case you run out. Pok-e-jos has two options original orspicy. I personally favor the original. It?s a hickory smoked yet sweet flavor with hints of honey. Leaving your tastebudswondering what and how it is possible to have my mouth watering and tingling all at the same time. The pickles are perfect theperfect crunch!!! The sweet tea is not as sweet as I expected it?s actually leaving that after tea tast that kinda makes yourmouth turn up. Great thing there is sugar on the table. Texas toast is perfect I?m in love with the way they make their Texastoast it?s perfect. This Mac and cheese is the best Mac and cheese I have had. It?s so creamy and cheesy, with elbow noddles.It?s so good I might get a second helping!!! Imagine for a moment taking a bite and the cheese squirt out the noodles causingyour mouth to fill up with cheese that taste homemade! The cherry cobbler...the crust has perfection it?s not too soggy and nottoo hard. The flaking crust with the deep red cherries causes your mouth to have sweet and tart all at once. Working my way back to San Antonio and decided to look for bbq in the area. Google broug t this up. Was a goid choice. Simple... and easy cafeteria style line. I had brisket and sausage, beans and mac/cheese. The meats were very tasty. Goid portions, goodprice. We all know that bbq is pricey which is more reason for it to be good. Got two bbq baked potatoes. This brisket was good but... HEB bbq brisket is better and cheaper. Also the tablespoon portion was way too small. The order was carryout and no care there. The two small pieces of butter in foil were placed in the same section with hot potato so the skin soaked it up. The bbq sauceneeds work. The bacon bits were old and not edible. The teaspoon of cheddar cheese was insufficient. The potato was a littlehard but I didn't mind it. Not a good experience. Read more
