The general manager should be embarrassed of this location. I sat in the drive thru for 45 minutes today waiting on 3 #1 tender... meals. I didn?t order anything crazy, but the amount of time it took was ridiculous. There were two sweet kids and an oldergentleman working from what I could see. They were doing the absolute best they could, but they?re severely understaffed. Eitherclose the drive thru or close the dining room if you can?t handle both. This is my first time going to chicken express in round rock. I am currently in the drive thru and I was put on hold at the... speaker. This is the worst Chicken Express I?ve been to. I waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes with two cars in line. I paid about 16... bucks for the smallest tenders I?ve ever seen at a Chicken Express. The tenders were basically nuggets and I know this isn?t upto Chicken Express standards. I don?t know how this store is still in business, I will never return to this location. This locatoin is close by my house, and we maybe go there about once a month to get tenders, and gizzards. We went today on... 3/15, and order. They did not have the gizzards ready, which is understandable, cause not many people order gizzards. Inoticed when I got them they really big. It was because they had just made them, and they were frozen and most likely clumpedtogether when they fried them. Needless to say, I bit into one, and they were still raw/pink. They also forgot the mashedpotatoes that go with the chicken. I called to give feedback, not complain, but when the young lady claiming to be the manager,said she was training a brand new staff, saw fit to interrupt me and talk over me, She tried to offer me more gizzards, andmashed potatoes, if I went back within 7 days. Sorry, I generally try not to make it habit of getting fried greasy foods allthat often, and I'm not going back in 7 days. Then to be so rudely interrupted on the phone letting her know that this wasunacceptable, just put this whole situation over the top. I get that you are short staffed, and traning. Went to the location on E Palm Valley Blvd for the first time tonight and so disappointed. The service was great but the food... wasn?t fit for my dog. I got an order of spicy tenders and they were hard and tough as though they were sitting under a warmerall day. The end of my roll was crispy too.
