Food was good, service was really bad! There were other unhappy customers while our party was there.

We waited about 10 minutes at the hostess stand to be seated and they weren't even very busy. Then we sat at the table another... 10 minutes and were never approached by staff. Even a simple " We are a little understaffed tonight, etc" would've been betterthan nothing. We finally walked out. It's really sad because we live in the area, and we are always looking for somewhere totry. We will stick with The Brown Bear! Read more

This restaurant gets two stars, but would get less if it were not for the view. Our son made reservations there Oct. 7th (for... my 70th birthday). Three of us got the walleye and were totally disappointed. It was fried to our surprise and tough;OVERDONE! My daughter-in-law does not complain, and she did not care for the ravioli. Out of 6 meals, the only good one wasthe grilled cheese with fries. My salad would have been good if the blue cheese dressing had been. I will say that I enjoyedmy garlic mashed. After such meals, my son decided not to even tell them about my birthday, doubting that any desserts might bepoorly done. If I had been paying, we would have made our dissatisfaction known at the time. Such a beautiful view for suchdisappointing food! Read more

Sometimes roaming around looking for good food pays off in unexpected locations. Western Michigan along Lake Michigan north of... Muskegon can be a rough area for good food. Driving around aimlessly while trying to avoid franchise restaurants was the bestdecision particularly since this place was hidden in golf course/water park facilities. Friendly staff and surprisingly goodentrées including very well prepared salmon, and nicely decorated western themed restaurant. Highly recommended. Read more

Let me start by I worked as a server so I typically understand a lot. I stood at the hostess stand for 15 min before anyone even... realized I was there. They had a few tables but were not packed, and most had already eaten. We waited forever for our food, theorder was wrong, no big deal, she forgot our sauces, again no big deal lol except she came back like ten minuets later with themso we had to wait to eat as we didn't have silverware either. My husbands burger was not cooked to the right temp so by the timeshe came back to our table the rest of us were all done and waiting for him to get his food. When they brought it back it thenhad the wrong toppings on it. I don't expect much, a little I'm sorry about that or small discount would have been good but thatdefinitely didn't happen. So after waiting on our bill forever we left cash as we had already spent way too much time waiting onthem. Food was ok but for the price not really worth it. Sad for the people of this town that this is the NICE restaurant forthem. Our server was super slow but nice at least, we still tipped her well even though she sucked lol. Read more
