Chain restaurants are always going to have their prices set a bit high. That’s just how it is. Of course they are going to... use farmed raised fish. It’s just cheaper. Actual wild caught coho, king, sockeye, chinhook salmon, prices run anywherebetween 25 to 60 to 130 dollars a pound. Depending on availability. And even if they were to serve such high quality fish. Mostaverage joes wouldn’t be able to afford it. Which restaurants like red lobster tend to try to advertise to. Same goes for mostquality sushi restaurants around the country. They too use farm raised Atlantic salmon. For the same reasons. Read more
